Flu Bird Horror 2008 HDTV XviD-aAF

aAF brings us this Sci Fi channel horror film called Flu Bird Horror. It is about mutant killer birds. Quality looks great, all on 1cd. I missed this when it was on, but it kind of sounds like a good watch, we’ll see.

During what is supposed to be a quiet camping retreat, six teens find themselves being hunted by giant birds infected with a mysterious virus that has morphed the birds into deadly predators. When the teens flee from the woods to a nearby military bunker on the outskirts of town, the flock of infected birds descends, spreading the killer virus they carry throughout the nearby town. One by one, the townspeople succumb to the virus, but a small group of them and the teens are able to find impenetrable shelter… at least for now. Will the teens be able to make it out of the town alive or will they end up as bird food?

The title sounds like they just stuck an idea on a whiteboard, and someone thought it was the title.I mean at the least it should be Bird FLUE Horror.

I really do not understand what CBS/SC-Fi does with their movies, it is like they will search out for the worst B movie ideas, and think they are shooting a Roger Cormen flick, ignoring that they have a HELL of a lot more money to play with, and actual union actors/technicians/camera people they can hire.

At the VERY least they should be looking at finished stories to adapt, PLEASE try Heinlein,Asimov,Clarke etc.and adapt THOSE.

I also wonder where they are doing their CGI stuff, It is WAY worse than a heavily handicapped Dr Who with the budget they have to play with (overall I’d say about 95% success on “real” 80 on Sci stuff)

I think that if they TRIED, they could do a good “Friday” 2? parter shown on TV with a DVD release of the “MOVIE” (low R- the way it was WRITTEN-nudity).

Actually doing that if it worked could also lead to a 6mth release of Heinlein shows, followed by “full” edit if need be for DVD release

Some sci-fi movies are fun, but this ain’t one of em – a bag of clumsy, cliched crap. Hell, even the title is clumsy and crap.

    @9 Spiders 2 : Breeding Ground? Not a sci-fi channel movie, but is spiders on a boat – http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0282179/

I like a lot of the sci-fi original movies, they usually are stupid funny. Good movies to watch drunk, not this one. I dont think being drunk would have helped. The crappy cgi is part of the reason to watch and laugh.

“use reliable torrentsites. newrorrents.info is more down than up. Use thepiratebay or mininova. newtorrents.info is always offline, it sucks”

Oh my god… did you just decide today… ‘I’m going to give out the stupidest, most r3tarded piece of advise I can come up with?!?!?’

Open Torrent Trackers = Bigger chance of getting busted by the MPAA
PirateBay + Mininova = The biggest open tracker sites on the net = The BIGGGEST chance of getting busted!!

If you read the comments on Mininova, those idiots are constantly complaining about recieving warning letters from the MPAA / their ISP… go figure!!!

GET A ONTO A GOOD PRIVATE TRACKER OR DONT TOUCH TORRENTS.

@8 The story in SG Atlantis is getting weak just like it was in SG1. But with Statgate Universe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Universe / I’m hoping this one will be good.

  22. Are people...
    August 25th, 2008 | 11:55

    @ 20 Misteritsy

Not be traced? I dont really understand…
When you download Torrents you’re putting your IP address out there for all to see while you do it, the MPAA etc have software which logs every IP address sharing said file. A ‘good’ Private tracker will monitor all users / members and stop suspicious accounts from using the site, where as Open trackers such as Mininova are open to any agency trapping everyone sharing any file they want.

Generally finding a good private tracker is your job not mine, but you can try these links for help:

    http://filesharefreak.com/2008/03/14/find-open-private-trackers-with-open-registrations-checker/
    http://torrentfreak.com/10-private-trackers-open-for-signup-071020/

or I think this Tracker is still accepting membership…

@Are people.I understand about the IP being out there, but with new laws in the UK ,and not being tech minded as some,am looking for less traceable ways of downloading, if there is such a thing .Thanks anyway.

You can pay money to encrypt and proxy your traffic, it bounces through a proxy which encrypts everything, extra $ tho

that way your IP doesnt even show up

  27. are people...
    August 25th, 2008 | 16:32

    @ 23 Misteritsy

I’m with you man, until recently I also lived in the UK, they have pretty sh1tty policies on piracy (I now live in Germany and they have way better personal privacy laws :) )

I wont pay for stuff like Rapidshare as it goes against my idea of ‘pirating’ when i have to pay to do it…

Good torrent trackers are ok, but your best bet (if you can wait a couple of hours for your movies) is to get the JDownloader, Rlslog actually posted it here:

    http://www.rlslog.net/jdownloader-01947-rlslog/

then just copy n’ paste the links for one of the direct download sites such rapidshare, filefactory, netload etc etc into the downloader and it does the rest, downloads each part of the movie and Bob’s your Uncle…

With these download sites you are as safe as your gonna be, no one knows what you have downloaded except from you ISP (they always know!! but will say nothing unless approached by the anti piracy bunch… what are they called in the UK again? F.A.C.T or something?)
