Flood 2007 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT

We somehow forgot to infom about this release yesterday, but it proved to be really popular so here’s a little delayed post. Flood was filmed mostly in London, so you can see Buckingham palace under a huge wave of water. Don’t expect too much, it’s a VoMiT release, but there’s some nice CGI and 1 CD shouldn’t cause many troubles to download.

When a raging storm coincides with high seas it unleashes a colossal surge, which travels mercilessly down England’s East Coast and into the River Thames. Overwhelming the Barrier, torrents of water pour into the city. The lives of millions of Londoners are at stake. Top marine engineers and barrier experts Rob, his ex-wife Sam and his father Leonard Morrison, have only a few hours to save the city from total devastation.

    hehe, drown ya buggers!

I can just picture all the English swimming up to Hadrian’s wall, trying to get into Scotland for safety.

‘Get tae f*ck - away an’ try France, Sassenach fuds!’ we’d shout as we poked their prune-like hands off the stones with our Claymores. 8-)

….Then I woke up chewin’ ma pillae. :-(

Yesh! Finally a cataclysmic event that doesn’t involve any place in the US (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, etc) getting wiped off the face of the earth.

I also see on IMDB that this is not projected to come out in the US… at all.

    I gotta get this one.

watched half of it, then skipped to the end, this movie wasn’t that good. they mixed cgi, which was blatant, with real footage of waves from alaska or wherever, not very seamless, they should have stuck with cgi entirely, there would have at least been some continuity

finished watching it. not bad at all.. cgi is ok, considering it’s difficult to make realistic water cgi.
and the mixture of real footage of waves didn’t spoil it that bad.
the cinematography wasn’t bad. and the music was ok except it gets kind of boring hearing the same music playing in the background throughout the movie.
story is average, but i expected more at the end. at least to see some cgi at the ending, but there weren’t any.

overall a movie which follows its title.
well, it shows “Flood” and the same old, “decision making” and “people making sacrifices”.. just like in “The day after tomorrow”.

if you like this sort of movie, you may like this one.

    hope this helps.
