Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.

it's funny that this show is CLEARLY filmed in canada (Toronto would be my guess) – yet they claim it's New York City… Doesn't look a thing like NYC, and at one point they were at a lake park and there was a statue with the giant maple leaf on it…
I guess it's one of the many ironies of this show & it's goofy sense of humor

The idjit that wrote "This series proves it, we kiwis are better than the evil Australians!" has gotta be one of those nationalist tools that embarasses their compatriots at every turn.
Amongst kiwis they are easy to pick, when travelling they get drunk and do the haka (Maori pre battle chant) at every opportunity. They will haka incessantly, ubiquitously, and badly.
However when back in NZ they are always the first to put the boot into Maori people.
When in NZ they will bore any australian workmate senseless continually harping on about convicts and/or under arm bowling, yet in australia where kiwis are usually regarded fondly, woe betide should anyone pass a remark about sheep-shagging, the tosser will be straight down to personnel to whinge about racism in the workplace.
australians have similar losers as does everywhere else – the one thing alla these losers have in common is one inch dix.
