Thirteen episodes were produced for season one to be shown in the summer TV season. Unfortunately, only nine made it to air due to it being pre-empted a number of times.

Since there was no room for the show once the fall TV season came around, CTV and CBS saved the remaining four episodes for season two. Production on the rest of season two began just this week. (There should be a noticable shift between episode four and five since episode four was shot in the middle of summer and five is being shot in the middle of winter here in Toronto.)

BTW, did anyone else notice how pregnant that "short midget girl" looked in this particular episode?

Regarding the confusion between Season 1 and Season 2, if you look at the very last credit on any of the episodes you will see something along the lines of (c) Flashpoint Season 1 productions inc.

This is also visable on the episodes the pre aired of Season 2 a couple of months back.

Leads me to believe that orginally there were supposed to be 13 or 14 season 1 episodes but the "powers that be" opted to cut it short and air them as season 2…probably to save money?

These are old, we in New Zealand have already had season 2 eps 1-4 aired last year as season 1. look forward to eps 5 onwards though.

There's no official statement how many episodes 1st season has or if Eagle Two is the season 2 premiere.

True, 4 unaired episodes were pred as PREAiR and you can find them on EZTV.

This is confusing.

Everyone was saying that season one had 13 episodes. Including Wikepedia.

But now it seems like it was 9. This means that the the four episodes that leaked in November were actually season 2 episodes 1-4 and not 9-13.

So if, like me you dl those shows, you don't need this

Actually I have the first four episodes of season two that we're released as pre-airs, released by DiNA. I believe in New Zealand saw them as part of season one.
