I like the tabbing features to different servers, so you can have like 10 ftp connections at the same time.
Main disadvantage of FLASHFXP – it has no tabs…but it is quick, I can startup as many copies as I want))
I personally prefer WS_FTP but I still use this because of TLF
actually the scene use a modified version of FlashFXP and they dub it the “scene edition”. Its usually offered as an internal release. You can find it on the odd open tracker from time to time.
Balan tells the truth, however the majority use FTPrush, due to the ease of using mirc scripts to run it for trading, etc. It also has tabs which can be quite useful.
FTPRush is a big and slow as elephant program…
and 420 is abs.right – still use FlashFXP because of TLF!

PANDORA releases a “scene edition” every so often. Personally, I wasn’t impressed with their release. I’d rather just stick with the regular retail ones than to take the time hunting down the newest scene edition.
I can tell you that most use ftprush for fxping, and flashfxp only for personal use. I can tell you that the top traders will use pftpd on a remote shell and re-route FTP traffic through there to the destination for added speed…
Perhaps I’ve missed something with torrent downloads, or I’m just plain ignorant re file transfer possibilities, so would someone explain to me how FTP would be useful for the kinds of items that show up on RSLOG. Thanks.
THIS DIDNT WORK JUST TRIAL VERSION
I used flashfxp for years until I found Filezilla. Its free fast and has more features like auto ASCII and binary tranfers.
