Hmm… wouldn’t be bad minus the Antivirus and Antispy. I use Nod32 and Webroot, so I’d be taking a downgrade on those just for the utils.

Already up to version 8 eh.. hmm. I always liked this software, but I heard some bad things about the 6 and 7 versions. I will try it out anyways and if I like I will buy it, even though it is overpriced software.

Yeah doesnt work for updates, but it does make your product work offline. Just disconnect for a few.. and try again. Or block it from connecting to the net.

The best thing is to study up on windows tweaks and learn good computing practices- so you won’t need to use this sort of software, which mostly I find just ends up screwing something up anyway.

Have u guys, blocked the program to access the internet?

I don’t think so… at least, every program with serial, and a free way to connect to the internet will get the serial blacklisted.

    :-)

Omg. Ut said it would delete all “unnecessary” uninstall entries. But instead it took away all the entries and I can’t even uninstall MSN Live Messanger anymore.

    This program sucks.

I just downloaded Fix-It Utilities 8.0 Pro. I was offered an upgrade price based on my prior purchase of Fix-It utilities 5.0 Pro. It was only $19.00 (US)! F*cking great price given everything it does.

Like most I fear these programs will be resource hogs and/or ineffective nuisances. That is not the case with this program. It is very very fast, intuitive and effective for the whole ticked list of utilities. Virus scans, Spyware scans, defrag/optimization etc etc are lightening fast even on my 200+gb HD. It is 100X better than my old Fix-It Utilities 5.0.
