HLS have released a DVDSCREENER of a British film called “Fish Tank”. I first heard about this film about 2 weeks back when i read a review on one of my fave movie news sites and the review was nothing but positive for it. Fish Tank is a 2009 British drama film directed by Andrea Arnold. The film won the Jury Prize at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival. The READNFO part in the title is because the film is hardsubbed with French subtitles, so check out the sample to see if they bother you or not. Enjoy!

Fish Tank is the story of Mia (Katie Jarvis), a volatile 15-year-old, who is always in trouble and who has become excluded from school and ostracised by her friends. One hot summer’s day her mother (Kierston Wareing) brings home a mysterious stranger called Connor (Michael Fassbender) who promises to change everything and bring love into all their lives.

    just a note that the film was originally filmed in a 4×3 aspect ratio so all the “fullscreen” samples are actually accurate and the rip was correct. Makes for a stranegly claustrophic effect while watching it! Movie is a gem by the way.
