First warez release for Nintendo Wii!
A small revolution is beginning – people from scene group Paradox released the very first Wii image of Red Steel, one of the most popular games on this console. One would think that releasing an ISO of some game may be enough, but it’s not like that: you need to hack your firmware in Wii, to make this playable. And that’s still a challenge waiting for someone to beat it. Text from NFO follows:

So this basically means that Wii images and games should be soon available, as it’s now with PlayStation 2 or XboX 360. It’s also interesting to say there are already some people working on modding firmware for Hitachi 8164b DVD reader, which is included in both XboX and Wii. A really nice news for all Wii fans and gamers!

They just wanted to be first. No one knows if there is a special way the games need to be ripped to work properly. Most of the x360 games released before there was a crack are useless. Not that I don’t hope they crack that nintendo thingy as soon as possible.
The entire scene is based around people wanting to be first!
You should be thankful though – that competitive atmosphere is what drives the groups to release so much so quickly…

And probably the Wii gonna be cracked easy, tho its more or less just a damn dvdrom. But Nintendo is allways some fuckers.

I don’t trust them, they say Red Steel is one of the best games for the Nintendo Wii whereas most Wii gamers know it certainly isn’t. Lord help the Wii if it was!
Hah, I second that, cockrobinson. My friend bought a Wii (primarily for Red Steel) instead of a 360 and has regretted it ever since. I play Red Steel for an afternoon at his place, and can confirm that it sucks balls. The sword fighting is pathetic , you feel more like a thug with a baseball bat than some kick ass ninja.
Some people seem to forget what the Wii is all about. It is NOT all about nice graphics, it’s all about GAMEPLAY… Sure, if you want photorealistic graphics, don’t buy a Wii, if you love playing games, don’t hesitate a second…

nintendo was far too ambitious with the controller, go to gamespot.com and check out the list of fps on Wii, same for most other games, they barely get higher then 5.0.
