First Sunday 2008 CAM XViD-PreVail
PreVail have just released the first cam of the movie First Sunday. Already a lot of critics don’t like this movie with 40 of them rating the movie as rotten on Rotten Tomatoes. The quality of the cam isn’t too bad but there is a bit of a flicker. With a movie like this I suggest waiting a bit for a better copy I personally don’t think you will be missing out on anything special if you wait on this movie.
Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) are best friends and bumbling petty criminals. When told they have one week to pay a $17,000 debt or Durell will lose his son, they come up with a desperate scheme to rob their neighborhood church. Instead, they end up spending the night in the presence of the Lord and are forced to deal with much more than they bargained for.

good job netboi i was about to address the juno dvd sceener out make sure its the proper because if its not the proper its missing the last 10 min. of the movie… but yea ill wait for a better copy of first sunday… and for #1 and #8 ice cube movies are pretty good for what they are worth…
and as for guaranteed failure… haha ill laugh at those statements i hope you dont mean box office wise… maybe this will flop but his other movies have done fairly well ill post the proof to prove it if you would like

This is going to be a hit movie, no doubt! But I have got to wait till something better than a Cam comes out for this. A proper TS would even suffice. An R5 would be the bomb.

Ice Cube is a good actor. Maybe some of you are forgetting his older movies like Friday, Next Friday and Boys -N- Tha Hood. As for this movie,it looks alright. I’m gonna wait for a better copy tho. The first poster said he “I hate black comedy movies.” I think if you’re black, or live in the black culture, you may enjoy the genre more. With that said, I am wondering if it’s even fair to rate a movie from another culture? For example. Any movie out of Bollywood I wouldn’t watch. They all sing and dance. But a billion Indians love them. Same with the Chinese films here. Even through they have English subs, I skip them. Two different cultures. And even though we are banded together by the Internet, I think we are still worlds apart Culturally. But I am not black either and I think these movies are just stupid. Now don’t get me wrong. I have no problem with black actors. I love a Denzil Washington film. Except The Great Debaters. Too racist for me. But Denzil in Man on Fire was great. I like movies without racial themes.

Umm… the Great Debators was a historical film of the Jim Crow South… of course its going to be racial. And the “Dont get me wrong…” Sounds like when racist people say:”I’m not racist… I love black people.” but I’m not judging… thats just what it seems like to me, a black man who enjoys a multitude of different types of films from various countries. I am also American… you know America, the great melting pot.

I appreciate I am Legend for Will did a great job in it and Denzel Washington also for the Great Debators. It’s just that I had distasteful experiences when it comes to black comedies.

As for everyone wanting RLSLOG to post the screener for Juno, think again. They really shouldn’t, as it is missing the last 10 mins of the movie, so it is a big time nuke. If there is another screener released with the last 10 mins, they will probably put that up real fast. Hopefully soon though – i’ve heard it’s one of the best movies of the year already!
