You will only need to play FF7… there's a PC version available somewhere on the internet

A lot of it you won't, but there is a bit of it's own story there as well. You mostly won't understand why certain characters are the way they are and such, so that will definitely diminish your joy in watching this flick.
Been waiting for this and i didnt expect the dubbed version as there are supposed to be new scenes in this version. Im buying the movie but this is great to check it out early.

If you guys want a 1080p release with Jap and English audio, as well as English subs look up the release from CHD. I believe there is a 720p release as well.
There are no english subs yet for this version of Advent Children, im sure all they would have to do is sub the newest bits and then retime the subs and add the new bits. But I can tell you for sure the BluRay only has Japanese and English Languages for the voices but only Japanese subs. Currently own the retail and yes it did come with the FFXIII demo for whoever asked. Pretty sick game from the demo.

Why? The bitrates are lower, there are no English subs for the Jap audio. So why?
The movie sucks pretty bad. It might be a bit better if you played the game though.
Story is uninteresting, the characters are bland and introduced in an awkward manner.
If you are interested in CG or Final Fantasy, then it might be worth your trouble. But if you are not, its not even worth renting.

As mentioned above, there ARE NO english subs on the jp version of the bluray, we will have to wait for the R1, or a fansub.
I hate dubs, but they did an excellent job on it, still cant wait for some subs so I can watch with jp audio though.

I am curious if the people that are complaining about this dubbed have seen it. This isnt your standard dubbing they did extremely good job and half the time you are unable to tell it is a dub.
I don't know if its just me but a movie with this much action makes you miss a lot when trying to follow the story in words on the bottom of the screen.
NOT DUBBED LIKE A TERRIBLE ACTION MOVIE THEY ACTUALLY TOOK THEIR TIME AND DID IT RIGHT!

He's probably watching it on his 2001 13" crt and if he sits far enough from the moitor he wont even notice the block artifacts.
Also is it just me? B/c I thought the runtime for the bluray version is supposed to be 136min? Or am I mistaken, or is this release 136min but the description is wrong…?
