Releaselog

Few internal changes

I’d like to clear out few things which happened in last few days here at Releaselog. As you could read in this “best of” post, Mike had decided to leave. This was a really sad news for me and we talked a bit about it and came to the conclusion that he will stay here, with all his great movie posts and weekly predictions. Instead, Kevin is leaving our team, because of some internal problems between editors. Kevin summarized his 107 posts with thankful words in the mail sent to me: “RLSLOG was great for a few months and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to work at RLSLOG.” Actually, I’m the one who should be thankful for his great work on the site. Good work mate.

So from now on, there are again only 3 editors in our team – and that’s why I decided to offer 1 or 2 places if there’s someone interested in joining our team. You probably know really good how our site works and there’s nothing to change about it. It doesn’t matter if you want to post about new music, software or video games, all is appreciated and if you will be able to keep it up longer than few days, we will be happy to say Hi to you. You can contact me at rlslog [@] gmail.com if interested.

Well! Life goes on. I love this site since the first time, about 6 months ago. After reading my emails, the second thing i do is seeing the news at rlslog. I think that the people who work at rlslog are superb, but I want more editors with the same quality.

    Hasta!

So, we lost the guy who post about tech news? Personally, I would like all movie released to have a short writeup. I could care less for TV writeups. More game and movie writeups to the person replacing the tech guy.

Id love to get onboard the great Rlslog-ship, though I know its not just fun but also a lot of hard work. I have my own site, but it is hard to maintain and improve stuff. I recognise the effort and would like to complement you guys with the stuff you do. The daily feed is awsome.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, who knows what the future holds for me? If I start writing elsewhere I’ll be sure to let you know!

Sucks to see Kevin leave. Would have preferred it the other way around instead.

damn, i received 10 mails 2 hours after posting this message. it looks i had to make some selective procedure for the position :D

  12. March 4th, 2007 | 23:28

    No way!

Kevin come back! Well, you all me, I commented several times on this site and I visit it 6 times a day (or more!). And Kevin always posted great reviews. Martin and Kevin, you were a great team!!

I don’t like the other editors (hi Mike ¬¬ ).
anyways, I would like to join the team, but I’m really busy with my website and with the YouTube Video Tutorials. Maybe in the future, who knows.

This is what i love about rlslog, you guys are always down to earth with your users/fans even offering them the opportunity to post stuff here…not every site is like that.

Keep up the good work guys!

Kevin, who was it that forced you out? Martin mentioned that there were editorial differences that you have with someone at Rlslog? It sure seems like a difference between you and Mike, because Mike decided to stay once it was announced that you were out. Sorry to hear that Rlslog couldn’t settle editorial differences in another manner besides pushing people out.

  22. March 5th, 2007 | 18:14

To be honest, I wouldn’t stay on the team if Kevin have stayed

Pretty lame you made someone else leave. I don’t know the users/admins much but in any situation, forcing someone out is a homo thing to do.

The tech news was really interesting though, so if Kevin was the tech guy.. some nice work.

There should be a user submit section here, maybe have it so u need a certain min ammount of comments so there isnt a lot of spam
