Group CM8 returns with another super low budget horror: Fear House is an obvious “B” movie starring bunch of unknown actors in what tries to be a scary story. The quality is really weird too, according to the NFO: dirty low bitrate of 579 kbps and 6 channel AC3 audio on 1 CD.

Relatives and colleagues of reclusive writer Samantha Ballard track her to an isolated house in the California desert where they discover a traumatized Samantha. She greets them with the grim announcement that they will die if they attempt to leave the house. After Samantha’s ex-husband and his girlfriend suffer horrible deaths while trying to escape, the others realize that she was serious.

    This is a film selection from slasherpool.com’s Insomniafest. Could be pretty gory and entertaining for a no budget scare flick. Not much in the way of reviews yet, so it could be a total crapfest.

    #5: it gotta be 579 because you wouldnt fit a 1579 video with 448 kbps audio on 1 CD.

    579 kbps is pathetic. There’s a higher bitrate xvid over at piratebay. Not much higher though, about 100 kbps more with the same audio. Idiots,I’d rather have a 900mb file,especially since DVD-Rs are cheaper than cds.

    First the copy: It’s too dark. I doubt the film was shot with this lack of lighting, if it was it’s amateurish Film school 101. The copy is watchable and you can adjust your monitor to compensate.

    Fear House is predictable and nothing original. See Legend Of Hell House from the early 70s for a superior Haunted House film. But it has it’s (few) moments of style,ghosts and grue. It’s entertaining and interesting enough that I didn’t shut it off halfway through like a lot of the garbage posted on Rlslog. Keep in mind I LOVE haunted house movies even poverty stricken ones like this. If you do as well you can do a lot worse than to give this one a go. Everyone else might as well skip this.

    hey guys do yourself a favor and stop the STV releases they are garbage well most of them are anyway it’s a waste of time and effort to release these siht movies i would rather eat my own siht then watch these cnut sucking movies i mean come on who throws a shoe. there just no good there a waste of band width a waste of human life a waste of good binary code’ just a fcuking waste
