@ V, right on 007, I allready thought off that myself, but being of the younger generation, my argument was based on the latest movies.

@ Bruce, yer, I know... but being inspired by somes but still make your own movie is a whole lot different than taking an existing concept and make it ya own (maybe bend a few lines and scenes to avoid any kind of artistic copy infringement). Now, maybe Ive given you some bad examples... but sure there are more better ones, for instant Pirates of the Caribbean (Perhaps another inspired by a true story/game/book/movie, but hea, its done nicely and big setup, I like it) I agree on the fact, that most hollywood releases suck and are ripoffs of existing (US or non-US for that matter) movies, books, series, whatever, but it has nothing to do with the fact that in hollywood there CAN actually be made some excellent movies. I rarely checkout movies, but when I do, Id like them, and here I go again, American Originals, not just the normal type but also (non pokémon-a-like) animationmovies. Oeh, and remember Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold... that one is a perfect example. Although based on a book from an english chap, this movie was brought out in 1987 and yes, how can it not be, it made in the goo' ol' USA. So keep the two apart ok ;) With original it's not just the main line, its the overal picture.
