Fear 2007 DVDRip XviD-BrG
I’m new here and I go by the name Desi. This is my first post. Surprisingly it’s a desi movie. I live in India and I’m turning 20 on the 15th. I work part time and spend the rest of my time online. You can say I live online. Rlslog has captivated me from the beginning and it’s nice to see it has grown to be the largest scene info site. I’m proud to be here.
We don’t get many bollywood releases even though India produces more feature-length movies than any other country in the world. I guess they make hundreds of low budget films that don’t really manage to take off. Group BrG it seems specializes in releasing Bollywood films (last 10 releases all Bollywood). Their tip of the week is “Resistance is futile, Entertainment is mobile”. The movie comes in a single cd DvdRip so the quality shouldn’t be questionable. This movie, surprisingly is releasing on the internet and on Dvd before it hits the theaters. “It’s going to open up new corridors for movie marketing.”, says Vikram Bhatt, the Director. There isn’t much more I could find about this movie. Even the plot. I haven’t watched it myself but if you are into foreign films give it a go since subs come in four languages. I haven’t seen any negative comments about it.
Fear stars Ed O’Ross and Three child actors who were all really good.
It’s about a little boy who you never know if he is telling the truth, or his nightmares are really happening.

I dont understand, some dude is just introducing himself as “Desi” in that post, which is written by Mr. X…
Split personality or WTF?
wtf? Mr. X?
thought he is form uk or usa….and hes definetely not new here….
but anyway welcome desi
Big welcome Desi!
Sounds like a decent film to me, probly check it out since it comes with english subs.
small mistake with those names, it’s fixed now.
What about a new Desi / Bollywood section ?
http://www.mininova.org/tor/927660
Oooooooooooh and how about getting a guy to write about the latest and greatest asian films, especially the horror variety!
Hey welcome BrG !! Hav seen many of ur hindi movie releases !!Hope u will post som great stuff here!!!
)
welkom
I loved Oldboy. Post stuff like that.
Welcome m8!
Rite oh… Bollywood shizzle, looks kinda cheap and cliché with that fake smoke/fog and predictable waterscene in that one trailer. Im more of the American Originals with the big names and original plot, great effects and lots of action and humour.
I dont think BrG is a ‘Scene’ group as all of their releases are P2P first (Bollywood Torrent sites)
but frankly the trackers are fast min 400k for a 6 mbit line
Yep, BrG specializes in Bollywood productions; BrG – Bollywood Release Group. Atleast it says so in the nfo
what about that freakshow 2007 anyone
Wow bollywood. Welcome Desi. Is it me or is this like movie tester week. The Korean films and now bollywood. I would think that the UK and American releases are more popular though, but I did enjoy a few of the Korean releases. Their sense of humor is rather interesting. Oh and their are a few new TUS releases today, but not of good quality. However, they are out and I think negate bollywood entirely.
I’ve actually seen this movie and the description is wrong because they mixed up two different movies with the credits. A man rescues a woman from the river and takes here home and she starts having visions that sometimes compares to the japanese ghost movies. Hindi horror movies are rarely really scary , but this one is decent and a little cheesy. I love the Bollywood stuff so I’m happy Desi is here….
Yeah you see one then an hour later you want another
I’m happy to see people welcoming me here
Its great
I will try my best to keep posting for u guys.
Welcome look forward to your posts
Welcome! =)
Welcome aboard Desi.
#13, there is not thing as “American Originals”. Almost all Hollywood movies are copies of a old erupean or asian movie (the ring, even G. Lucas accepted star wars was based in a kurosawa movie).
@24 old westerns are cool–
when men were men–
Welcome, desi, looking forward to your posts, too. Thank you for this movie post, it definitely seems worthy to check out. Bollywood movies are great.
And thanks for the MN link, LGx.
the plot looks ok, but does it turn into some weird song’n'dance musical thing like all the other bollywood stuff i’ve seen?
i mean this isn’t the texas chainsaw meets grease is it?

What did you think I meant when I put down “Original” up there. I meant an unique, original, new conceptual movie with great actors and made with LA quality. I totally enjoyed Johnny Depp in Fear and Lothing in Las Vegas. Everybody knows The Matrix, Bourne, James Bond and Oceans. Come on… You know what Im dragging on about
Deja vu was another big suprise. Sure, The Ring and Starwars are big american productions. But are indeed ripoffs of the somewhat lame asiantype’o'movies. Now, Im not an patriotic American, lol, Im Dutch, so Im not saying that american movies are per definition better than others… its just that mostly they are. Bigger is better. The Blair witch project was crap, low budget, no effects, no story. Starwars was crap, big budget, too much effect, bizar story. When the timing, settings, actors, budget, effect are working together in a magic way, an American Original is born! It’s just one of those moments when you can not download the movie because you have to have seen it in the cinema. Oh well, Ill cut the crap lol. I got a bit of a cold and is messing with me head making me talk jibberish lol.
I’m looking forward to see some quality Indian movies here.
I’m also welcoming you Desi & thanks for posting new movies from various countries. Hm… to bad for this movie but i agree with “13 wickido”. It’s too cliche & predictable, judging by the trailer.
WTF
WTF
WTF
a movie full of pakis speaking paki talk?
paki talkiiing paki talkiii talk
no thanks rlslog

Sup Desi
Good to see some non-western posters!
Although India is not the country putting out most films, actually “Nollywood” is (Nigeria). With a turnout of aprox. 1200 films a year.
Wake me up when it’s over!
so-you are turning 15 on the 20th
and spend your time online (when there are no undersea cables break)
i look at the desi link–i learned something today–association of south asian
corrected me if i am wrong-but the common link was to be under brtitish rule
first time i heard people to be so happy about that
Another job outsourced.
hahahahahaha
as far as i know
in hindi country is called “desh” and a foreign country is called “videsh”. so a foreigner is called “videshi” and a person belonging to the country is called “desi”.
as this is a hindi term so mainly people from india sometimes call themselves desi on the internet although people from surrounding countries also sometimes use this term.
@37
this is not a place for job related discussions
haha
Welcome Desi.
It´s good to see posts from different cultures.
omg goodness gracious mee
rlslog i mean wtf?

Hi Desi,welcome! But I don’t want see any bollywood sh**t
Haha lelijke koeli!
seems like 19 more people have cast their votes on imdb to bring it to 5.8/10.
@pixel
thats only because you still have your job.
@29, James Bond is UK! (at least the first ones). That cold must be really hard. Agree about The Matrix, however.
I have a serious question, do all bollywood films have singing and dancing in it? Even thrillers and ganger films?
Just a suggestion with all the new movies coming out I believe its time to set up separate sections for different types. One for indies, and others such as: action, horror, and drama. With the most prominent or to be popular ones left on the front page. Putting this ahead of a tecline or xvid of seeker that has been released is by far disappointing on some levels, but I liked your review and think your going to be an asset. Just a suggestion. I think everyone should know about this site as I get tired of hearing whats the quality. My reply should be check out desi’s post on rlslog.net.
@48 it is your job he has !
Welcome desi..glad too have U..Like the fact that U add Language too your post..Hope this is an on going thing.I like the Bollywood movies,but do prefer them in English.Hope you will post other type movies also
IMDB has the wrong info…they are reviewing an American movie, but by mistake they list the Indian director. Read my post #18 for the correct plot outline.
ok backstabber replying to ur post
I must tell you that yes most Indian movies have singing and dancing. even the gangster movies. I guess Its something the Indian audience is used to. Generally even if the movie is a flop the songs are a hit and the directors make money.
If there is no singing and dancing in a movie than the viewers are less.
This has a few musical numbers in it, but they are just between 2 people, there is no big production numbers(which I love!).
Welcome Desi! And ThanX RlsLog for this fresh initiative. Request for Desi: plz post the best of recent Bollywood flicks like Omkary, Don, Aaga, & Guru with Eng Sub of course. ThanX again man. My hindi is not perfect but – “Susyagatama” and “Khushi of Janamdeen” in adv. to you.
Welcome Desi, the more variety, the better. Message to the staff though: I think you need to rework the format of the site to have more categories and more compact entries which can be expanded. When you make an entry about a movie rls, keep the quality info brief (one sentence) and make additional points in a “read more” link. Same with the plot summary, first 2 sentences with a “… read more” link etc. I check rlslog twice a day (religiously) and on the heaviest days I have to flip through 3 or 4 pages just to see what I missed. I tend to read most of the entries so keeping it concise would make the info more accessible, (at least to me). It could also save you bandwidth. Hmm… never watched a bollywood flick before. Guess i’ll give this a go.
Welcome Desi.
Wouldn’t mind a good rip of Bhoot (2003)here. Also some of the old Indian horror movies produced by The Ramses brothers. Thanks Halloween is coming and we could use horror films from every culture.
Hey atlas, this isn’t really a good example of a Bollywood movie. It’s very low budget….
NoVaDJ: what is?
@NoVaDJ
You have to realize that although you may consider this movie “very low budget”, India is a poor country, and as such, their movie industry hasn’t got the resources available to it that Hollywood does.
yes anthony thats entirely true and also that the Indian audience is generally very pleased with cheesy special effects and acting. Well acting is actually very emotional in Bollywood films. Better acting than hollywood.
Just to let you know I am a big fan of Bollywood movies including South Indian(Tamil & Telugu). I’ve been watching them for over 5 yrs and own about 200 of them. When I’m talking about low budget I mean low budget for Bollywood standards and I wasn’t trying to be insulting. I just wanted people to know this movie “FEAR” is not a good example of a Bollywood movie if that’s what someone wanted to see. SOme Bollywood movies such as KRRISH had special effects better than some Hollywood movies.
This film doesn’t have english subtitles.
@The Original Geek
Indians work cheap, so just call any tech support, hold the phone up to your speaker, and have them interpret for you.
Agree with #53, I also prefer to watch them in English don’t like subtitles, and after reading #65 comment I think I’ll pass this.
IMDB Additional Details says Language:
Hindi / English so it can be done in English.
Wow… great movie… 1st bolly movie i seen… LOL…
no, Nigeria for sure. Check out this documentary about it (really good):

agreed.
Wickidi,
you don’t know what you are talking about!
Being dutch and talking about “American originals”!
I do understand what you mean! But most movies that are made in Hollwood aren’t original concepts! The concepts always seem to based on other movies,books or comics! If you had an idea how Hollywood worked than you wouldn’t have used the term “original”! And Bollywood movies also copies from other movies! Sometimes it works out good and sometimes it doesn’t! But I must admit that sometimes they do add some special elements that you would never find in a Hollywood movie! Example: “Satte Pe Satta” a movie starring Amitabh Bachan is sort of a remake of “Seven Brides for Seven brothers (1954! And they managed to be just as good and even better since they added more dramatic elements to the movie! I think that if Bollywood would focus on making movies for the international world and leave out certain elements like song and dance than Hollywood certainly have some competition! So my point is it not so easy to write off or dismiss Bollywood movies!
By the way you mentioned “The matrix” as an original concept! I loved the movie but it is a known fact that the Warchawski Brothers are big fans of Hong Kong movies and borrowed a lot of these movies!
“Bullet Time” is just an updated version of the slow motion used in John Woo movies (Like Better Tomorrow,Hard Boiled and the Killer). Even the famous scene where Neo dodges bullet is inspired by “Full Contact” from Ringo Lam with Chow Yan Fat.
All the action used in “The Matrix” are based on several action movies made in Hong Kong! And they even used Woo-ping Yuen for choreographing this!
The cool outfits and the dark sunglasses also taken from John Woo movies!
Be careful when you use the term original certainly when it comes to movies made in Hollywood!
welcome desi.
hopefully tu bohut sari hindi movies release karoge.
The problem with American movies is they are made for the American market. Most American people are simply stupid hence the movies suck.
let it be high budget or low budget bollywood always sucks at movies and most of them are just rip off of other hollywood or foreign movies..
“Indians work cheap, so just call any tech support, hold the phone up to your speaker, and have them interpret for you.”
Anthony, fudgepackers, especially super fabulous ones shouldn’t comment on another person’s culture. Get back in the closet.
man.. dont do this.. no hindi stuff..
plz dont defile this forum with all sub-standard stuff..
aren there enuf forums already…
@76
well not all bollywood movies are bad. especially the romantic ones.
i have seen dilwale dulhania le jayenge, kuch kuch hota hai, hum dil de chuke sanam, kal ho na ho, black, don, guru and they are not bad at all. in fact they are superb.
what desi should do is release only good stuffs and not like this release
@ V, right on 007, I allready thought off that myself, but being of the younger generation, my argument was based on the latest movies.
@ Bruce, yer, I know… but being inspired by somes but still make your own movie is a whole lot different than taking an existing concept and make it ya own (maybe bend a few lines and scenes to avoid any kind of artistic copy infringement). Now, maybe Ive given you some bad examples… but sure there are more better ones, for instant Pirates of the Caribbean (Perhaps another inspired by a true story/game/book/movie, but hea, its done nicely and big setup, I like it) I agree on the fact, that most hollywood releases suck and are ripoffs of existing (US or non-US for that matter) movies, books, series, whatever, but it has nothing to do with the fact that in hollywood there CAN actually be made some excellent movies. I rarely checkout movies, but when I do, Id like them, and here I go again, American Originals, not just the normal type but also (non pokémon-a-like) animationmovies. Oeh, and remember Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold… that one is a perfect example. Although based on a book from an english chap, this movie was brought out in 1987 and yes, how can it not be, it made in the goo’ ol’ USA. So keep the two apart ok
With original it’s not just the main line, its the overal picture.
@77
Gesundheit, god bless… you need a hankie with that lol
@Autri
Go buy yourself a 7-11 and stop promoting horrible films.
@The Original Geek
You don’t know what culture the people making the comments belong to.
@pixel
Comment in english only, please.
@80
i well my bad there lol. but its not my fault that the names of the films are not in english. gues we should translate the names then.
pixel has a good list
there are alot of really good bollywood films
but this is not one of them
autri is right in a way
alot of american movies are horrible
but there are the good ones that come out around november-december
plus hollywood’s audience is 2 biilion
where bollywood’s audience is 3.7 billion
the world doesn’t revolve around america
grow up
yes, american movies r good but not all
and that goes for movies everywhere
@don
“plus hollywood’s audience is 2 biilion
where bollywood’s audience is 3.7 billion”
but hollywood’s audience has money for both food and movies. bollywood’s audience is mostly hungry and have not upgraded to hdtv’s yet.
@Arnold Bread
Based on his comments about young boys I think we know what subculture Anthony belongs to.
@redford
yet bollywood’s audience in india is most likely to surpass the american economy in a few years
Oh please.. What’s original about having frikkin song and dance numbers in EVERY SINGLE MOVIE!?
Repeat after me…
Quality not quantity
Quality not quantity
Quality not quantity
etc.
Welcome, nice to see people with the worst Internet access giving back to the scene.
Ignore the 12 yr. old mutts and keep it up.
OK M**F**s if anyone has a sub for this baby, push up it to
