Who wouldn’t know Fatboy Slim. A legendary artist who stood behind many of the most popular songs which are still played at night clubs all around the world. Well, it’s time to have little more fun with all those classics and this new album is exactly what you looked for: The Greatest Hits Remixed offers all the smashing singles in remixed versions created by such an icons as Chemical Brothers, Junkie XL or Mike D. Amazing 2 CD compilation for all fans of house and trance.
FATBOY Slim aka Norman Cook is far more than just that bloke who married Zoe Ball and did that song with Christopher Walken flying in the video. With the Housemartins, Beats International and Freakpower and a succession of solo hits behind him, he is pretty much the epitome of the ‘Superstar DJ’. By all accounts he is also a very nice man, so nice in fact that he has invited a load of his mates from the business to remix some of his best known (and some not quite so famous) hits.
Twenty tracks are given a thorough going over by assorted DJs, producers and knob twiddlers including The Chemical Brothers (who make Song For Shelter sound like, well, all their other songs), Beastie Boys Mike D and Ad Rock (who make a better fist of Praise You, slowing it right down and imbuing it with some old-skool beats), Timo Maas, Justice, Switch and Andy ‘Redanka’ Holt, who provides a highlight with his mix of Right Here Right Now, giving the already huge tune an epic quality.

well, firstly nah its not “vocal trance” fatboy slim has always made house music, this is house music by its very definition..
secondly, this is a rather good release, i myself arent the biggest FBS fan his toonz tend to get a bit poppy and camp for my tastes, however this is a remix album, and there are some v.nice tracks on here, I mean chemical brothers can’t go wrong really can they.
If you want an extremly high sound quality dance album to listen to, check this out, it sounds pretty awsome coming out my speakers anyway…. password is a bit lame but hey read above to get that..
