Fast Girl 2007 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT

It’s been quite a long time since we informed you about last VoMiT release, but your favourite supplier of low budget flicks is back now with a dvdrip of Fast Girl, a sporty family comedy with cute Mircea Monroe in the main role. There are only 18 votes at IMDB so far, most likely from the film crew itself, so it’s impossible to say if it’s any good, but don’t download it with huge expectations. Retail DVD date is set to 29 Feb.

Racing is in Alex Johnstone’s (Mircea Monroe) blood. It was her father s life and it ultimately caused his death so her uncle Bill (Dwier Brown), who runs the local speedway, is determined not to lose his niece the way he lost his brother. But Alex is determined to prove to Bill, to the world, and especially to herself that she has what it takes to be the best in a traditionally male-dominated sport. And when she meets up with handsome professional racecar driver Darryl Sands (Justin Guarini), the emotional stakes are raised even higher. Will Alex crash and burn or can she carry on her dad s legacy and make her dreams come true?

    Normally I would have no complaints to the work and dedication RLSLog staff puts into the site, but please, PLEASE could you be bothered a little more, so as to include a RT (rotten tomatoes) link and possibly rating, for the movies that have a rating there? Please? Thanks…

    And yes, I do realize this movie is not rated on RT yet, but the majority of those being posted on RLSLog are.

    Rotten Tomatoes really is a much more accurate and dependable measure of quality than IMDB, hence my request…

    Doesn’t this sound like Herbie Fully Loaded but without Herbie, a Lindsay Lohan, that Apple commercial guy and Michael Keaton’s character is dead? That movie was shiite and a knock-off’s gotta improve on the imperfection, right? :)

    @14 The difference between RT and IMDB is that IMDB is a consensus of user opinions where RT is a consensus of critic opinions. I find IMDB to be more reliable than RT, because I don’t go to a movie as a critic, I go to watch and enjoy a film.

    I have seen a number of “above 7″ movies that I was completely disappointed with. Later on I found out (after discovering and consulting RT) that there actually is a place where the movie rating mostly coincides with my opinion of it, in the vast majority of cases. So I have great expectations when I sit my ass down to watch a flick - I can’t be alone in that trait, so I believe including RT ratings alongside IMDB ones will help people like me in figuring out the quality of the release.

    Of course there are movies that I like even if they are poorly rated, but I respect the fact that the critics *will* point out the strong side of the movie (if any) and why it works even though it’s not perfect. Like Equilibrium, for example. Also, I don’t want to bump down the rating of a movie at IMDB because it won’t go low enough unless it’s REALLY bad - and it shouldn’t. Some movies are very popular with broad public for a reason, and I have an equally strong reason to avoid such films (no real strength, just a popular actor/subject/whatever).

    Ultimately, I happen to read every film’s synopsis before looking into other people’s opinions, because in reality, if a movie’s premise seems inviting enough, a bland execution is not enough to lessen the enjoyment. So it really can’t hurt having RT link + rating included for convenience…
