Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift soundtrack

There are only 2 posts about music releases at Releaselog, as I don’t specialize in music too much, but now it’s an ideal time to make another post. The reason is quite simple, one of the best music scene group, RNS, released soundtrack for another sequel of Fast and Furious, extra popular car racing & tuning serie. Tokyo Drift, which is the name of last movie, will be available on 16th June. This soundtrack is scheduled even 4 days after the openening night, but you can get it already now, with 2 weeks pre. I’ve already listened a part of it, but it’s not that hot as it may look, the songs are not exactly my taste, but they will probably fit well the movie (btw. the main character stared by Paul Walker from previous 2 movies is now replaced by another actor, Nick Barcelona).

The soundtrack to the third installment of The Fast and the Furious film franchise will be released on Tuesday June 20th, 2006, just four days after the film hits theaters. Like the soundtracks to the previous two The Fast and the Furious flicks, Tokyo Drift features a bevy of street savvy tunes from artists such as DJ Shadow, N.E.R.D., Don Omar, Atari Teenage Riot, and underground upstarts like Evil Nine and Japanese rap crew Teriyaki Boyz (who actually perform the title track).

    as for those dissin the tuner concept…get a life and do your homework…tuner cars are not what you’re thinking…check out formula d on G4 or look up some web sites…you’re only making an ass out of your self…

    The movie was really good and i am glad they didnt try and follow the story on from the first two because that would have made it very tacky!!! they should leave real trilogies for movies like the clasic ‘Back to the Future’ series or the holey trilogy which is ‘Star Wars’. i do have to say that this movie does attrack a certian audience… when i went to watch the film at my local Vue cinema there were a lot of ‘Chavs’ and ‘White Gangstas’ which to be honest was not surprising! Also I found reading the comments that other people had about the movie were quite funny… the people who really loved it talk like Chavs! the people who didnt like it seemed to type more maturely… i think this shows the people who loved the movie need to grow up a bit and realise it was only a film… as for thoes who didnt like it… you just need to lighten up a bit! whats wrong with being a bit out there one in a while!!!

    Ive been doing searches and downloading through lime wire and everywhere else and i still haven’t found the song where DK and Sean are Racing Down the Mountain.
    The Song Begins Right before DK Gets Next to Sean for the Final Race. Its about 6 minutes Long and Has no lyrics. Its more like a Techno Beat Song. Anyone know what it is?? I cant find it anywhere. Please post it or email it if you know the name. Thanks.

    Update! I found the Song that is played at the end when Sean and DK race down the mountain.

    The Song is Called – “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” Its Track # 2 on the Sound Track by Brian Tyler. The song is 7:05 long. I hope this helps out!

    BTW. american muscle cars drifting against import cars, thats stupid, they are too heavy to drift, any of you who actualy race know what I´m talking about.

    I saw this movie and i think it isn’t great. It’s just fine. I
    like in this movie: cars, music and finally chicks :) .
    Personally i’ve got Ford Mustang v8 and this car is too havy for drift (i check it out :P ). But its great machine to eat somebody in straight race or eat somebody from lights on street :]. It’s magnetic too for chicks :P . Greetz 4 Drifter and other ppl who knows what is goin’ on :)

    Tokio Drift…man that was one of my favorite movies I mean its a good movie specialy when u wached i theater. And y is everi one talking about the song, whats so hard finding that song? it just takes about one hour to download that song u might have a hard time finding out which one is it becouse they give u that song in about 30 diferent ways singing and not just in english and if u have the right program, well i dont think u’r alowed to use that program bot u can use it u can eve download the movie if u want.

    yeah this movie is pretty cool n catchy but its really shit from the production side of it. also the dvd is now out so if u want all the songs or any just got to the credits and start pausing ur dvd on the soundtrack part. there are way more songs to the dvd than on the soundtrack- prob cuz most of them are ones u dont notic coz ur watchin the dvd or theyre background songs

    Well…i think this movie is great except some of the part are seems to be quite “fake” (can clearly seen it is generated from CG)..

    Overall 2 tumbs up~!
