    Post 8 by don leads to an archive that contains an infected installer “VirtualDrive-Pro11.7.exe”. The name of this file matches the original one. The file icon is that of an “anonymous” installer whereas the original installer comes with an icon representing 3 green drives in a triangle. Once activated, the fake installer launches a process “launcher.exe”, which gently spreads trojans Virtumonde + Trojan.vundo all around the system (infects memory + registry). It took me more than one hour to clean my machine.

    Advice:

    1. Download the installer from publisher’s site: http://www.farstone.us/download/virtualdrive-pro/VirtualDrive-Pro11.7.exe

    2. Download keygen: http://www.uploadjockey.com/download/969886/fsvdp117kg.rar
