Wow, I didnt even know this was being made and probably for good reason. Uwe Boll just does not stop with the terrible game to movie remakes. Here is another example he has remade the popular First Person Shooter game Far Cry and has received negative reviews everywhere and also with a score of 2.8/10 on IMDb lol. Enjoy this movie if you dare to download 
An adaptation of the first-person-shooter video game where Jack Carver, a retired Special Forces Officer who now is transport for hire, by people and cargo. On one particular trip Jack ferries a photographer ‘Val’ who wants to photograph old Japanese WW2 bases on some of the Micronesian islands. He goes through hell when his boat is attacked and destroyed by an unknown party while Val is away. Surviving by the skin of his teeth, he must now find Val and uncover what is truly happening on these dark and mysterious islands.

exactly!…granted uwe boll is probably the worst director of his and this generation but some of his movies are just so bad that the eventually turn out to be good.
Just watch it with the notion that it is a B movie with some decent acting, good set pieces, awful dialogue and a unique directorial career ending gift and you will have a good laugh from it.
If you have two hours to kill, you can give this a go!

I quiet enjoyed Postal. I am going to dl this and see if it is enjoyable. Postal however had some comedic relief, FarCry didn't have humour to my knowledge in the game.

How come Til Schweiger plays a role in "Inglourious Bastards" from "Tarantino" next to Brad Pitt (which actually means nothing) and he plays the main role in Farcry. This is hilarious!
I think the movie is a must watch, because Uwe Boll is such a borderline, you have to make your own opinion about him.

The reason Uwe Boll receives such vitriolic comments is chiefly due to his inappropriate adaptations of well known video games. Secondly, it's difficult for many directors to take a video game story and bring it to life on the big screen. While Far Cry the game, applauded by it laurels of awards and by critics for it's endearing gameplay and story line – most of the time it is filler, as most games are, with repetitive FPS combat. To make an hour and a half film requires a lot of script and character development and often it's hit or miss on the best of terms. Uwe fails epically with his misguided attempts.

he gets his fundings from the german culture departement..they give fundings to stimulate cultural development..so therefore..the german government give him money to make these movies

Blood Rayn was the worst waste of famous actors and got the same imdb rating. And I never played the game! so its not resentment, his movies really sucks. I prefer to be burn alive than to waste my time downloading anything Uwe Boll does.

Totally underrated, in fact most (if not all) of Boll's movies are so very underrated… they are mediocore at best sure, but so are 90% of the movies today.
One thing I truly "hate" about Boll movies is the European actors with their funky accents (I'm myself from Europe, so no comment wars intended)
Last Boll movie I saw was Postal and I thought it was pretty decent, mainly for the humor though…
So what the hell, crappy movie based on a crappy game, will download it just to see how "bad" this one actually is.

What really annoys me is that people who don't even watch the films call them crap. Seed was one of the best horror films of 2007, and much better than the usual crap Hollywood churns out, yet it's rated 2.4 on IMDB simply because people who haven't seen it still rate it as a 1/10. Steven Spielberg hasn't done a good film in a long time, yet if you were to admit going on IMDB and rating his recent crappy films 1/10 you would get moaned at. Also how many film makers do you know would get in the boxing ring and fight the critics who call their films crap like Uwe Boll did?
"Tunnel Rats" is not an adaption of a computer game and a really good movie. Gonna watch this just to watch til schweiger. LOL.

Come on, give the man a break. I'd say a few scenes in Postal were gross, but on the whole it was funny and well executed. Btw, to all those worried about the German tax payer: in Postal Uwe admits on camera where his funding really comes from.

To give Uwe Boll some credit, his movie 1968 Tunnel Rats was a very entertaining film. I do agree tho, that was his only one. If you have time check it out. (esp if you like war movies)

Watched this movie last night! and it was actually pretty good! Wouldn't say its brilliant, but had some good actors in it! even had the late Stargate's General Hammond – Don S. Davis in it!
Worth a watch! Main characters actor fitted the job perfect!
