Family Guy S06E06 PDTV XviD-LOL

This is the first family guy episode to not feature its creator Seth MacFalane. His relationship with the FOX network may be harmed because they did not consult him in the final touches of the episode. Peter starts an anti-immigrant campaign after attending a Veteran’s Day parade. After finding out he was born in Mexico he loses his job at the brewery and ends up working as a groundskeeper at Carter Pewterschmidt’s estate. Padre de Familia trasnlates from Spanish to Father of the Family.

Padre de Familia: Peter discovers that he was really born in Mexico and his mother has never filled out his U.S. citizenship papers, making him an illegal alien. This causes his firing from the brewery and his hiring as a worker at the Pewterschmidt estate.

\”His relationship with the FOX network may be harmed because they did not consult him in the final touches of the episode.\”

Yea, like Seth has any choice but to do what Fox tells him to do. Otherwise, they\’ll cancel his arse again!

He knows where his bread is buttered, and if this strike goes on longer than a month or so, you\’ll see him come crawling back.

So even though the creator was featured Peter is still in it. How?

I think he know they won’t cancel it, as Family Guy is one of FOXs top shows, if not the best.

Anyways, hopefully this one is funnier than the last two or three.

We know we are good for at least two more episodes before they run out:

\’FOX has another new episode scheduled for this Sunday, but series creator/producer/star Seth MacFarlane is saying that the episode may have been close to completion before the strike, but that the finishing touches were done without the striking MacFarlane\’s blessing.

At least two additional episodes of Family Guy were in a similar state of pre-strike near-completeness and MacFarlane lacks any sort of television equivalent to final cut, meaning that the studio has the right to deliver episodes to the network for airing without the creator\’s sign-off.\’

Seth MacFarlane is a closet Racist.

I understand pushing humour to the edge, but concidering at heart this is a family show, He constantly steriotypes black people and chinese people, and never conciders maybe giving them a normal role that doesn’t focus on the fact that they are “black or chinese.”

I’m a fan of the show, but his racial digs go way pass the line. A black friend of mine brought me to the attention of this issue, and since then, I can’t help but notice how bad it is. He’s a 21st century “intelligent RACIST.

    heres some examples:

Chris: What do you do at a Young Republicans meeting?

Alyssa: We help those who already have the means to help themselves. Also, we perpetuate the idea that Jesus chose America to destroy non-believers and brown people.
    C
hris: I don’t know why, but I feel safer already.

    …………………………………………………

“I’m trying to figure out if I’d rather be blind or black”

    …………………………………………………

There are soo sooo soooo many more (and worse) “black jokes” in the show.

Anywayz, what do u guys think?

    @ #14
The example you use is a perfect example of the things that go on in this country, Seth just brings it out in a comedy setting. He is a genius who is able to portray how ignorant others can be through his characters. If you can’t handle a little racism then don’t watch it but if you watch black and spanish comedy (Im pure latino) they’re equally if not more racist. I don’t think you have grounds for your statement as Family Guy isn’t even a family show its an adult themed cartoon show. p.s. its consider not concider

@14: Don’t be so uptight. Chill.

It’s ironic humor. In real life, you would never laugh at a cripple, and yet, you laugh when someone in a cartoon does it, because it’s so ludicrously out of line with social norms. This sort of black humor has been the trend as of late. Do you watch South Park? Even the Simpsons has some quote unquote “racist” digs if you really force it.

Also, Family Guy was never a “family” show, despite the name. While it may follow in the footsteps of the more family-friendly Simpsons, it’s jokes have always been much too risqué for children.

    @Indeedz

That isnt really a racist question, to ask someone whether they would want to be blind or black, since both choices have consequences that could make life difficult.

While the choices have similarities, such as becoming dependent upon the state for support and losing the ability to contribute to society, they also have differences.

If one were to choose blindness, you would still be able to walk freely about a grocery store without security guards following you, while as a black person, you would not experience the same treatment. If one were to choose blackness instead, one would have a much easier time of walking along city sidewalks, as people cross the street to avoid you. A blind person would not experience this same treatment.

I thought I would never had to say this about Family Guy, until I saw tonight’s episode….

Tonight’s episode sucked worse than a two-bit ho.

I couldn’t believe how utterly bad it was.

Train wrecks have more style than tonight’s episode.

And I’m just putting it lightly…..

Funny episode tonight. I have to say that This is one of hte Best quality TV rips I have ever seen for a Cartoon. No horizontal distortion lines, no network logo, and DVDRip quality. Thanks LOL.

Can’t they just switch networks if they’re not happy at Fox?

Also, one of the rules for comedy is to hate your audience. Early (and various other shows) TV was more racially ignorant than Family Guy. /random input

luckily the WritersGuild is on strike, so Seth has some time to rethink his concept.
I love his jokes and FG is fun….but lets face it: he is cheap.
All the storylines are inconsistent and just a notch better than american dad. The entire idea of all his shows is a copy of the Simpsons family. Anyone remember what he did before?
Those really f***ed up man&dog cartoons? Geez, those were lame …and it had the same jokes as in FG and AD now.

Is Seth able to create a real “story”? I doubt it.
    ..still, the jokes are funny.

who cares about the story in family guy… people watch it for the comedy, the story is just a device to push the random gags till the end of the episode.

on a separate note, they should have delayed the broadcast of this episode…some of the editing seemed so forced..clearly rushed.

Sorry to bring it up again, but i thought that the question was if they preferred to be “black or cripple” and the jock being that it was directed at “cleveland and joe”,one being black and the other cripple.I got 2 nigerian friends and a malay they love the show.I’m irish and hell fg lampoons irish people like there is no tomorow, but I still love it.Only people insecure in their own identity would get offended by it.And in any case jocks are nowhere near the racist slur that paul mooney and other comedians come out with against white people.

If Seth Mcfarlane is gone, who does the voice of Brian? It was Seth Mcfarlane that did the voice of Brian! hard to understand?

what there saying is they he is gone but there are 2 episodes left that are more or less finished that can be aired. so there so no need for him to do any voices for them. after them 2 episode they dont know what will happen
