RELOADED brings us the goods today with Fallout 3! I personally have been waiting for this game for years and just hope im not let down, but judging from the reviews i have been reading we shouldnt be in for a let down :D So glad this came out just before bed so i can download it overnight!

    This one is worth buying. I bought the CE and the game is awesome. Just spent four hours playing, but just meant to check it out for a few minutes. Damn, game is gorgeous and addictive. Fallout + Oblivion = Game of the Year.

    I’ve been playing the 360 version the past couple weeks and gotta say this game is awesome. The VATs system is solo badass! Headshots are frickin brutal! Definitely grab this asap!

    why everybody wanted red alert 3? you wanna jerk off cause the hot russian? i played the game while games convention, and ive to say its 90% the same like cnc3. same interface, same untits (only new names) etc. fallut 3 gets 9,6/10 IGN rating, THATS (and left 4 dead will be amazing, i although played a level while games convention, AMAZING!) the real deal this year! no far cry 2, no crysis warhead. fallout and left 4 dead the REAL games this year. and no command and conquer.

    For reloaded version you dont need a crack. Mount it in idedrive with newest Daemon Tools (4.30.0303) and enable newest Yasu. Thats it!

    I thing that the EN/RUS version was with StarForce, that because you need crack for that. But this Reloaded version is just Securom which is emulated by Daemon tools…That my opinion

    So far great game…great release. I grabbed it form the newsgroups, the cracked exe is installed with the game so it dosnt get any easier. No serial so you can use LIVE with a personal account with no fear of being detected. Runs great on Vista 64.

    RELOADED game works great, no crack required BUT on my XP system it crashes about 1 minute after escape from the Vault :(
    Anyone else having this sort of issue?

    Quit whining about “precracked” installation, this version’s EXE is unprotected!
    The only thing which uses SecuROM here is setup, which has been cracked. The game itself is clean, the same situation as with Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition (setup with SecuROM, game with simple CD check).

    @230: You can get the “russian” version to work in perfect english if you delete the Russian.ESP in the data-directory. If that alone doesn’t do the trick, you’ll need to use the rar-file found here http://www.rlslog.net/fallout-3-clonedvd-readnfo-tl-fallout-3-crack-trivium/ (the “help – everything’s russian” one) or reinstall following the instructions provided in the comments of the same post.

    i have a minor/huge problem. when installing my windows xp first sends me a net framework error but continue to install like nothing happend, when im´done and and wanna play it just pops up and says .”"Windows cant find dxredist-dxsetup.exe” and another box says “use contol panel to install and configure windows components” if i press “ok” cant do anything else it comes up whit a box that say ” autoit error line -1: error unable to execute the external program, the file where not found”

    My windows aint in english so the error might not sound like that as i translatet it as good as i could.

    Any ideas anyone ?

    Installed game (CLONEDVD release) no problem on Vista X64 Ultimate with no crack. Yes no crack.

    Set Regional & Languages option to Russia first them install the game & the language back to English once it installed. Played game fine this morning, going to purchase game at the weekend ;) .

    My problem is that my image file is broken and I cannot install the english voices file – it gives a choice of abort/retry/ignore when trying to copy it to the game dir. So I chose ignore, copy over the files from russian install and they work fine. But the russian voiceovers are terrible and I want to play with english voices. However, the internet connection will make downloading the 7,5 GB of full game’s image painfully long. So I’m asking only for voices file as it’s what I need

    the codec ffdshow is responsible

    HOW to FIX it:
    download and install k-lite codec pack-let it uninstal the other codecs it detects that has conflict-let it fix the broken codecs it finds—-after that you need to make some minor change to the FFDshow codec … go to START->PROGRAMS->k-lite codec pack->configuration->ffdshow audio decoder and run down to OUTPUT there check ONLY the LPCM button and click apply

    @255 thanks for the codec info, it worked to stop the crash I was having. Mind you it crashed to the desktop again about 5 mins further down the line so I guess this game has more than one issue. Maybe video settings? I’ll tinker.

    Does anyone problem with sounds. It seems, that ambient sound is sometimes really loud, and in the backround something very loudly popping, like some kind of machine. I can hear from my surround the direction of the sound, but it doesnt matter how far Iam going the sound is still the same. Can someone help? I found this problem on gamespot formu already, but without sollution.
    I have SB Audigy 2. Everything else is ok.

    Whoa! This game is awesome! Blew me away, tho the birth crap was annoying (took so damn long). I have had server crashes whilest playing this, PKR pall kept poping-up and it crashed this game several times, ALT + TAB will crash the game, and all programs that give some messages on top of the game will crash it. I’m running this game on Windows Vista Business 64bit with a p5q pro mobo, intel core 2 Quad Q6600 processor and 2x Club 3D 6600GT gfx cards running seperately to provide view to 3 monitors. Hmm.. Hope they fix this.. I spose it wouldnt crash so easily if I would turn on SLI, anyone have this same little problem?

    my 2 cents. I got frequent freezes, because the launcher had placed 4x antialiasing and 8x anisotropic filtering. After I changed those settings to something more reasonable, crashes are gone.

    Can anyone shed any light on why after leaving the vault I’m on 60 fps & it’s playing smooth as silk (even when near the houses after vault) then all of a sudden it drops 20 frames for no reason?

    If I quit game and load save its fine for a few minutes then it comes back.

    I’m running every thing on ultra, 1650×1080 2xAA, AFX15 samples.

    8 hours? So I am guessing you didn’t do any of the side quests? I believe it was estimated 10 hours regular and 30 to 40 hours for side quests. Not doubting you, but with game crashing constantly I can understand why you wouldn’t want to. I’ll wait for this game to get fixed before playing it again, but overall it looks good from what I have been able to play. Just frustrating to have it crash so much, at least there are unlimited saves.

    Funny thing. during install there was some Ignore-retry-cancel error for the EnglishVoices.bsa file.
    I kept on clickin Retry and finally it got to the end.
    I am Level 6 (done a few side-missions) kicked some jew-zombie ass, and everything seems okay here.
    I stopped having crashes when I set the .NET 3 optimization Service to manual as well the other two (can’t remember which tho, to disabled).
    Thing is this muthafacka sets 3 new services in my box without even asking me.
    Thank Goodness for GHOST and my clean image.
    I tried that FFdshow setting but the .NET service was the issue for me anyways.
    Thats all

    @301 I finished game in 8 hours doing many of side quests. There are not so much side quest as one could expect. And rewards are pathetic, some XP, maybe a weak armor or weapon – when you got much better one already, some karma which is useless.
    Whole good and evil (karma) concept in this game sucks. I usualy play evil character – it should be more rewarding – like KOTOR. It this fallout game you have a choice: accept&fulfill quest and gain karma (be good) or walk away and gain nothig. Like before every city lies a guy that beggs for destiled water. If you give to him you get a karma and XP. If you dont do it then you are left with water occuping inventory – which is bad as there are more things to be collected from every dead enemy. You can loose karma by stealing – nobody has anything of value heh or breaking and entering – most locks require lockpicks at 100, which means that you MUST ignore weapons skills (small arms and energy guns) to make it to 100. Weapon skills are ONLY way to survive. Lockpicking wont let you finish the game.

    Game has many locations in which there is NOTHING of interest or value. Like there are 5 other vaults, every one of them is infested with insane vault dellers. There is nothing of vaule inside, sometimes a door that requires 100 lockpicks. Right.

    So whats with the side quests? Travel to one boring location, kill someone, talk to someone, get something for a very little XP? This game can be finished in 4-6 hours easily.

    Whole plot is shallow, only thing that has been tuned is last 4 minutes of the game – in which you dont even have to fire a gun, because giant robot will do everyting for you.

    so, there is no crack everywhere for those bugs, as the game works without one needed, lets presume that the producers will come up with a patch.

    Ok 315, I have a native sense called intuition and that tells me that a launcher with the same size as the original is actually the same file. what is different about it? can you tell me?

    I often find the talking a bit boring in this game, they also act like stupid robots repeating themselves & having conversations with each other that don’t make sense.
    Apart from that i like it so far.

    I used reloaded version with the reloaded crack. I crashed maybe twice. I have beaten the game but am still playing after reverting to a save game right before I beat the game so I can explore everything. Great game.. that’s not something I say to any other new release RPGs. Thanks again RELOADED!

    I’m sure most have figured out how reloaded’s crack works…but just in case….

    Fallout3Launcher.exe (or whatever it is named) is the crack by Reloaded which in the full .ISO release is right on the DVD when you mount it…

    For anyone who has downloaded another scene release of Fo3, all you have to do is take that file and place it in the game’s install directory, replacing the original. I believe the size is somewhere around 17.3 mb. The “crack only” link that rlslog provided is the one I’m currently using.

    Install and play worked fine for me. It did crash 2 times while playing, but within the first 2 min of loading a level. As far as I can see, RELOADED did it right. No crack needed.

    Shot three dog in the face with a .44 magnum before he could even open his mouth… he continued to broadcast after i killed him… This is not the spirit of FALLOUT, is actually the total opposite… Also the “karma” meter is an imposed form of moral authority, whereas in the original games, there was no “ok this is the “”good”" thing to do and this is the “”bad”" thing.” This game is an insult to the series, even though its really awesome as a technical achievement. Also you cant kill children in this game. You can kill children in fallout 1 and 2. Play those instead. They’re both really fun, and require a lot of personal maturity and intellect. This game throws that out the door for propoganda and mutants that look suspiciously like John McCain (see *centaur*). I’m sorry, but as great as this game COULD have been, i give it a 4 out of 10. It should not have been called “FALLOUT,” but rather “modern corporate trash version of FALLOUT,” which anyone who played the earlier games already knew before this game was published…

    If you immerse yourself in the game, and explore… not only focusing on the main quest, Fallout 3 is rich with things to do.

    For me it’s one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played. The theme of the game is perfect for my gaming style.

    For all that complain, if you take your time, don’t rush to level and just enjoy the ride this game is excellent. Perhaps those that complain are just not the types to that should be playing an RPG. Simple as that.

    Can anyone please upload the ORIGINAL Fallout3.exe AND FalloutLauncher.exe?

    Because RELOADED decided it was cool to remove the originals and replace them with cracks, but that’s not cool, they should have at least left the originals in a separate folder.

    As of now I cannot patch the game due to that. And by the way there is a Mini-Image of Fallout 3 available at GCW, there’s no need to a crack at all. It’d be much safer to keep all original files and mount the Mini-Image instead, and that basically turns the copy into a full retail version.

    So yeah, can anyone please upload both original/retail version of those two files?

    well i did not have to get a new patch or even repatch it but my saves were in C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves\

    and when i updated i had to put them in C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves\Vapor

    which is my characters name and the folder was already made so i just moved the files into the folder and it worked fine
