Niiice, i just woke up to see a PAL version of this had been released about 45 mins ago, there was a USA version of Fallout 3 released about a week ago (Click here for post) but that was region locked and also a review copy. The NFO for this one doesnt mention if its region locked so ive just said it is to be safe and also doesnt say if its a reviewers copy either :| but heres the version for any PAL users to enjoy, but im still hanging out for the PC version! enjoy!

    A friend at Gamestop in Frankfurt told me that the Europe(PAL) Version will have the violence removed and such… So I will hold out for the US PC version.. Ever since I moved here, I’m starting to hate how they censor the violence in games… I liked it better in the US

    the previous Ruins release may have been region locked but Fallout.3.READNFO.XBOX360-Seed4ME released 8/10/08 says:
    Region Free: No (PAL/NTSC-U) and seems works okay on my Australian PAL 360’s.
    heh, the crap 360 version eh? with PC games representing only 15% of the market and the last major PC game, Crysis, being a commercial failure, the days of expensive PC gaming rigs are nearly over. I regret upgrading my games pc to X2 8gb 3.6ghz Quad z5500 to play the scant PC games that are released. I and the majority of the other humans would rather enjoy games seated comfortably on the couch with a nice big screen, decent surround on a cheap console that has free multiplayer rather than all the tedium associated with PC gaming. “Hey everyone, come and stand around my desk and watch me play Far Cry 2!” compared to sitting on the couch enjoying it with your mates. No contest!

    Have fun playing on your dumb box and paying 50-60 Euro per game. You’ll pay the price of a full pc upgrade every year anyway if you buy your games. Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy quality games on my pc having the freedom of choice : mouse, keyboard, gamepad, joystick and of course superior graphics and hardware customization.

    Meh, you just fail.

    The Game not sucks I´ll playe the previos relase since 2 Weeks and the Game rocks. Gamestar, (gives Far Cry 2 only 82%) ,the bigest German Gaming Magazin has played the PC version of Fallout 3 for 5 hours (no final review) and say it rocks too.

    Wii Sport for example sold alone 20 million making Halo/Gears/GTA/MGS look like small potatoes and Nintendo is winning the console war simply by avoid the “gamers” niche a.k.a PS/X-Box fanboys and going for the much bigger crowd.

    And BTW I play both PC and console games.

    What an entertaining response. True gamers don’t discriminate between platforms. We crack a smile each time tards moan for PC ports of console games. Every 360 game has 4x AA but good luck enabling 8x AA with Far Cry 2.

    Well I have played through the review version and saw no flaws or errors. Did my play through the “good way” and did not fully explore the map. Only reached level 18 before the game was finished so I will try to replay with different ending. Game is by the way fantastic once you get into it and truly is a worthy predecessor of the original games. Same feeling and sort of the same graphics (but 3D and better of course). Awesome characters, quests and storyline.

    1. humour used in f3 just lacks its finesee from f1 & f2 (btw no wonder, none of creators of f1 and f2 took part in creating f3)
    2. kill whole village go away and come back after 3 days – and everybody still loves you BUT take a fukin spoon from somebody’s table and they’ll shoot you….
    3. item descriptions: why did they not added them?? why?? what was a genius tiny piece of whole f1 and f2 awesomeness is now gone. All they left is just weight, damage and price. great.
    4. dialogue options can look more less this way:
    “-ok, I’ll do it
    -no probz, I’ll do it
    -Sure, I’ll do it
    -I won’t do it
    -No chance, go fk urself, I won’t do it
    -bye”
    5. as a Fallout I’d give it 6/10
    as any other game 8/10

    Worth playing though! download to judge, buy to keep!!

    i never played 1 and 2, but i’m loving the openness of the game! after coming out of the vault it seems you truly can go anywhere. i wondered off and got into a scrap with super mutants with rocket launchers straight away! like a cross between GTA and bioshock
