Fall Out Boy-Infinity On High-2007-RNS
Another nice release for all fans of alternative rock music. Infinity on High by Fall Out Boy features 14 nice tracks full of electronic guitars and drums. As with every album, some songs are little worse than others, but it’s overally very good album. The reason why I chose to post about this release is also this: RNS, one of the most respected music scene group, attached a short but somehow sad sentence into the NFO: This is our last release. Enjoy! It’s hard to say how serious is this, because we could have already seen many groups leaving the scene and then returning at glance, but in every case, big thanks to RNS for all their work in last few years!
Fall Out Boy recently spoke to Billboard about their new album, Infinity On High. The record is the follow up to their multi-platinum major label debut, From Under The Cork Tree. Guitarist Patrick Stump explained: From song to song there’s a completely different feel, but they all make sense in context. They’ve got a few common points, but overall there’s a lot of different voices and perspectives and styles. It would be dishonest for us to hold back any of these elements. Stump described the album’s first single “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race” as “a hip-hop/R&B song, but written as a punk song..” Beyond that, he mentions a “borderline classic rock” as well as a greater use of piano, as well as strings and horns, though he claims that “we were really restrained about it.” Guests confirmed so far include hip hop producer Jay-Z, Panic! At The Disco’s Ryan Ross and New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert. The record is due out on February 6th, 2007.

Fall Out Boy are an American alternative rock/pop punk band from Wilmette, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago, Illinois) that formed in 2001. The band consists of Patrick Stump (lead vocals, guitar), Peter Wentz (bass, backup vocalist, and primary lyricist), Joe Trohman (lead guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums).

if rns really retired, that sucks. they were the most reliable group ever. from dr dre 2001 three weeks early to alicia keys first album, they owned the music scene.
i would check out releases simply because they were rns rips..
i guess we’ll have to figure out who will take their place.. c4, ragemp3, esc, xxl, uf, h3x
who knows…
this is sad.. i remember #rnsfiles which is before most people ever heard of rns. but oh well, life goes on.
emo fags!!! lol
mr. miyagi!!!
Jesus! Can we get some real releases instead of these emo losers!
this site isn’t dedicated to your own personal music tastes Ian B – if it’s a scene release it belongs here. Although, I’d be interested to hear what you consider a “real release”…
This Was Released Like Two Weeks Ago….

Christ! How gay can 4 guys be looking, euw… Cant believe someone could really be into this kind of weird shih…
i totally dont like this kind of music
but thanks for the news about RNS
they are the best… the most albums i have are made by them!
Fall Out Boy=emo fags? I think not. You close-minded fuckasses. Just because half of you can’t even get laid you’re so busy playing World of Warcraft and getting fat. Maybe pop-punk, but emo? No.. Jay-Z and Kanye West both produced tracks on this album. I think they definitely added a bit of reinvention to themselves on this cut, it’s very good.
I admit this is a little late now as this has been out for 2 or more weeks. But people who didn’t figure that out should be told about it so, no complaints. This is one of Fall Out Boy’s best albums, definitely worth getting.
later on tonight ill check the songs a little bit
On that note…
DING DONG RNS IS DEAD!!
I agree with Awesome_O u numbnuts this aint emo/emocore. Posers just see such music as either emo music or insane heavy metal. Sad nuts, get ur genres right! I disagree though about this being FOB’s best album.
shud ur fukn mouths , THIS BAND SUCKS ASS, my fukn fart sounds better than this shit
i guess you only posted this because of RNS since the first release was released a couple weeks ago…
lol are those guys?!
These guys are fucking emo homos but their music is good.
[...] Não sei o que diabos meu amigo Cavoto assina um feed RSS emo, ele me mandou então esta banda que ele achou: Fall Out Boys. [...]
I’ve been following Fall Out Boy for years now. I’ve loved their unconventional riffs, Patrick’s voice, and their energy in concert, among many other things.
“Take This To Your Grave” was a tremendous CD, “From Under The Cork Tree” is an excellent, classic pop-punk CD. However, “Infinity On High” is lame, and I love Fall Out Boy. There are 3-4 songs on this CD that are good, and the rest are bad. Fall Out Boy has gone from clever guitar riffs to more simple four-five chord riffs, which makes them more ordinary, in my opinion. This is, without a doubt, a different kind of Fall Out Boy.
The good thing is that Patrick really sounds great and they are utilizing his voice extremely well. It’s just a shame the music isn’t very good. You can’t blame the band, though. They’ve been extremely busy touring, making music videos, and posing for pictures in teeny-bop magazines and didn’t have much time to write good music. This is the music company trying to make a quick buck and capitalizing off FOB’s popularity before it goes away.
Still a tremendous band, it’s just not good music.
RNS , we miss you forever
all of you who say FOB is emo just don’t know what real music is… that’s all I have to say to all you gays
peace out fuckers

What really pisses me off about FAB is that I feel the name is taken from the classic RPG Fallout, y’know, the Pip Boy. They bring shame. Truckloads of robot-sheep-pop emo shame.
Plus, drunken college kids love this bollocks. A huge house party at my local campus premiered the 200 douchebag chorus to the tune of FAB’s first single. I’ve never wanted to nail my own cock to a board more in my life, just so my screams would drown them out.
They look like gay N’Sync fanboys
