Fall From Grace 2007 DVDRip XviD-DOMiNO

Most of you have probably already heard about Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church by now, especially if you live in the US. If you haven’t Fred Phelps and his family who make up almost all of the members of the Westboro Baptist Church are a group of fanatic, extremist christians who can be seen picketing with slogans such as “God hates fags”, “God hates America” and “Thank god for dead soldiers” at places such as US soliders funerals. As you can imagine this has caused quite the uproar and Fred Phelps and his family have attracted media attention many times over. This documentary basically tells the story of the members of the church, the family and the people who have left. This might make you feel sick to the core as it does me, so keep a puking bag close at hand.

Well.. This just shows the mentality that elected Bush for two terms. Blind undereducated scared white people, raised on crap TV, a dumbed down educational system, and low wages. Just goes to prove that amerika, under the NWO, is little more than a breading ground for cannon fodder.

The sad thing is that these kinds of people are more commonplace than we would normally think. The only thing these people do different is actually attract attention to themselves. Whenever I see them in the media I think about how many people actually agree with what they preach.

All we can do is wait for their leaders to die and for their children to become more enlightened, thoughtful individuals. It’s getting harder for these religious nuts to amass more followers as the world gets more sophisticated, and they know it. It’s just a shame that most people reading this post will never live to see the point in history where religious people become the minority rather than the majority.

I watched a Louis Theroux special on this “church”. I couldn’t believe that anyone outside of the family was a member, but they do recruit others using that horrible message of hate. To see a 7 year old boy talking about a nation of f@gs seriously turned my stomach….

I think that Fred Phelps is a closet homosexual. Someone who is that against homosexual(s) or the lifestyle is seriously in the closet….

  9. Gaius
    March 6th, 2008 | 20:03

Also, while I really can’t stand these people, I can’t help but think if they’re any worse than the government that preys on the stupidity of the American people to manipulate them into sending their kids to a meaningless war.

  10. Gaius
    March 6th, 2008 | 20:06

    @9

You’re probably right. More often then not, the men who voice their hatred of homosexuals the most are just trying to keep people from finding out that they themselves are homosexual. Society can really do a number on a person’s mind.

I think these people are speaking the truth. Finally some people who are not afraid to say exactly the stuff that i think, how i view this immoral world. If ever become a millionaire i would definitely donate some money to WBC. They have the straight-in-your-face-style. I love it how they picket funerals and all that. That’s what this perverted world deserves. This world with twisted morals deserves to be faced with hate.

I’ll definitely be downloading this one, i have already watched this one documentary “Hate mongers” or smth like that about the WBC.

Thx for the post, keep up the good work.

You know… I’m quite amazingly patient, understanding and respectful 99% of the time, but the next time a soldier wants to throw a puppy off a cliff, I’d gladly let them swap the puppy for a Phelps family member.

I won’t be downloading this because it would make me more angry, disappointed and jaded than watching a speech by Ann Coulter!

I’m evern more embarassed by the Phelps family than G.W. ! that’s how bad they are!

(p.s. anyone who decides to watch, please let us know if its worth watching – i.e. Frank gets torched or somethin’!)

@20 I agree with what you say, however if they don’t get exposure to show what they REALLY stand for, people will never know the depths of hate, the twisted scripture readings, pickets at funerals for fallen soldiers. No matter what your opinion on the “war” is, they are a bunch of soul less humans to say that a son/daughter/father/mother/etc was killed because God is mad at homosexuals.

The logic is twisted, the “sermons” are twisted, and Fred Phelps is twisted.

    RS.com links would be great.

And this cult (that’s what it is, people) crossed the line when it released a statement following the shootings at Northern Illinois University here in Illinois in the US. They said “God bless the NIU shooter” and started to picket the funerals of the 5 victims killed.

With each new word Phelps & freaks spew, it makes the nonsense Tom Cruise says about Scientology all the more… sane.

i could honestly say i hate americans and the way they have corrupted our English spellings. i can also say how much i hate bible bashers

but i can honestly say how much these two people added together makes you want to scream, punch and basically kick shyte outta them for their immoral behaviour on your country peeps. bible bashers are one thing, but to hate poofs and be against anything thats not in that thick book you call a bible [i would take it for recycling, but thats another story] and to be NOT sorry for your dead buddies in the war.

ok, its wrong to kill and its also wrong to be in Iraq fighting the war. let their own county fight the war, if not, at least help with other countrys like N. korea, burma, zimbabwe be free of their leaders.

    but i say this….

It always amazes me how much people know of what god thinks. They certainly can’t get it from the bible if it is about god’s way of loving everybody. “The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” -Richard Dawkins Amen to that…

There’s one thing I like about Fred Phelps: He has his own faith and his own view on morality, which makes him a great way to show how pointlessly subjective your own views are. You base your views on as much facts as Fred does, and that makes him just as right as you, which is not at all, but still funny.

You all think you are better than him, because he doesn’t share your own blind view on life, he just has his own.
And I don’t just mean the religious people who think God has another personality than the one Fred describes, but mostly the atheists that discriminate certain religious people because they are unique or because it breaks the rules of their own highly subjective moral code, which you’ve gotten in your head is real.
You see, religious all believe anything their imaginary friend says, which basically mean they will belive any lie they tell themselves, which actually is the same thing most of you are doing when you say “this man is evil”.

So, who are the threat? The crazy hillbilly who rambles on his farm, or the millions of people brainwashing themselves into moral fanaticism at the sight of said hillbilly?

yes Bush has a lot to answer for, but then again so do the idiots that voted for Clinton. he was given the chance to take Bin laden 6 times from three different countries and he refused each time. Dont try to deny it as there are governemtn documents from England-Russia and a few other countries that back this up. As for innocent deaths? The Bombing of the USS Cole happened on his watch and he did nothing. The bombing of the Empire State Building happened on his watch and he did nothing. So before you start accusing one party, make sure that your keyboard goes after both.

And as for your idiotic statement of “the constitutional violations such as wiretapping without warrants” Do you even BOTHER to read? Read the following US Supreme Court Decision bunky :U.S. Supreme Court UNITED STATES v. UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT, 407 U.S. 297 (1972) 407 U.S. 297 UNITED STATES v. UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF MICHIGAN ET AL. (PLAMONDON ET AL., REAL PARTIES IN INTEREST) CERTIORARI TO THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE SIXTH CIRCUIT No. 70-153. Argued February 24, 1972 Decided June 19, 1972
    http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=407&invol=297

If you would have bothered to even do a google search you would have seen that this was decided in 1972 and as such every president since has used it. Not to mention that the USSC said this was a part of the Constitutional powers of the president. As such not only is this Constitutional, it also CANNOT be changed or overturned by any other judge or congress and not even the USSC can change this as they included a small wording that said this was the Presidents constitutional authority and powers. That means that the ONLY way to change this is by a Constitutional Amendment. And since over 2000 of them have been tried and less then 40 have actually been adopted, care to guess what your chances are in changing this?

Next time, maybe you people should actually READ before opening your mouths or typing on your keyboards.

It was brilliant, as he basically did everything you would want to say to them and just showed them to be totally flawed. He played them at their own game and beat them. It was pure entertainment, oh and the main mother in the family had a son out of wed lock, hahahahaha, not practising what they preach. If you can find the program, it was aired on channel 4 in the UK, watch it as trust me, it’s funny and he really does say everything you would shout at your tv because of them.

Round 2? Grow up, it wasnt that long ago that the US was supporting iraq during it’s invasion of iran. Criticism of US foreign policy is entirely appropriate and necessary given americans abject failure to make it’s political leaders accountable for their crimes.

With respect to weapons of mass destruction and the appropriate UN resolutions it was solely the perogative of the UN to determine compliance or non compliance. The US had the option of verifying their so-called intelligence using the weapons inspection process. Instead your political leaders engaged in a campaign of lies leading to an unprovoked invasion that has led to hundreds of thousands of deaths.

Well, I just viewed this. I admired the film maker’s tact of just letting them tell their story without any slant. Hell, they do a perfectly nice job of exposing theirs sickness without any outside help. Just the typical fundamentalist christian tripe – merchandising death.

Of course none of their argument matters if there is no god; which they take for granted that everyone believes in, and even if there is he’s obviously not concerned with us here on earth. I mean, to put things in perspective, how much concern do you have for bacteria on a piece of elephant dung in africa?

It would be nice if all the fundamentalist christians and muslims would kill each other off, then we might have some peace and quiet around here.

And whats the deal with no one taking action against these haters? Is Topeka filled with a bunch of wimps? What about the relatives of the slain soldiers? Are they scared of these sacks of swill? I think since the Phelps cult is so intrigued by IED’s, that perhaps they should be given a closer look at one or four. Then we can all lift our head to the heavens and sing with confidence “Thank God For IEDs”.

What is the concrete context of the Chri$tian Church’s relationship with hom0sexuality? Is it any different than relationships with liars, greedy persons, or thieves? The Bibl3 talks about these people in the same breath it talks about hom0sexuality, therefore any Chri$tians should look at the person who doesn’t tithe in the exact same way as they look at g@ys.

  131. wah
    March 9th, 2008 | 13:08

A “little fib” should be treated no differently from a g@y kiss. Why is a lesbian eyed with condemnation but the drunk who beats his wife and children gets to take his place as a Sunday school teacher? Why is there moral outrage at a rainbow on somebody’s car but nobody cares that less than 10% of Christians tithe? The answer is that Christian morality is just self-righteous moralism, that our indignation is actually self-serving because we’re trying to make ourselves feel better. We don’t believe in grace and hope and peace because we don’t really believe in Jesus, and that’s why our judgment on the other is always smug and never righteous.

The Bible’s mention of homosexuality has nothing to do with the teachings or encouragement of oppression or repression of g@ys, though the WBC seems to believe otherwise. That’s an issue in the American/Western culture war, not an issue that the Bible is genuinely interested in. The fact that you don’t see constitutional amendments popping up about Christians who don’t tithe or televangelists demonstrates that the American and Christian right’s stigma against homosexuals is not based in Paul’s admonitions. They revile the other as a “f@g” and are just trying to maintain hold on their turf. That make him the scapegoat for their perpetuation of and participation in evil, for their lack of control and failure of virtue. That has nothing to do with what Paul (or the Levitical holiness code) was getting at.

For a first thing, why are homosexuals barely let in the door while homophobes are in full communion with no rebuke whatsoever? There’s a serious double-standard here. (Different things could be said of mainline churches, but that would be a digression from our point.)

The Church seems far more concerned about preaching about the evil of homosexuality, but doesn’t do a damn thing to preach against those who commit evil against g@ys. Westboro Baptist Church goes to many different places in the country and I don’t know of any churches that have delivered any harsh criticism or rebuke for their hatred. That’s the extreme example. A more common and relevant example is my friend who is quite homophobic and doesn’t want to have anything to do with g@y people. He doesn’t want to talk to them, look at them, be around them, or have anything to do with them. He has nothing but contempt for g@ys. This is the kind of oppression/repression that seems to be tolerated in the Christian community. While we welcome the alcoholic or the drug addict, we turn away the homosexual. To the homosexual community, the Christian community looks no different than the non-Christian community in their attitude and disposition to g@ys. There are some who use the word ‘homophobe’ as a buzzword to slander anybody who thinks anything about homosexuality other than unqualified enthusiasm. But this excludes the kind of homophobia that is so vile, the kind I’m talking about here. It’s the kind of habit we have to be able to get out of our systems as Christians, because we are here to talk about something more important than a mere turf war over whether somebody else will look and act just like me.

As I think about this situation, the Christian society really need to start caring more about the world around them, or us that is. If we stop caring, then that might just allow the repression to perpetuate and IMO may probably drive the homosexuals away from the Gospel for good. But I’m more focused around the relationship between the recent emergence of the homosexual movement(s) and the Christian society — the Church — than its relationship to American or Western society, because while I’m committed to the vision of the Christian society I’m not particularly committed to (all of) the Western program.

When it comes to sin there is always a both/and. We are both perpetrators and victims of sin. So when we’re looking at the rise of g@ys or g@y movements we have to figure out their internal logic. (Obviously there are more than merely biological factors here because biology didn’t suddenly undergo a drastic change recently.) For some, homosexuality is an extension of the bourgeois theme of sexual exploration — my community already enjoys casual sex with the opposite gender, so why not remove the rest of those primitive taboos? For some, homosexuality is a way of finding acceptance with a community that provides an alternative to the oppressive power structure of one’s inherited tradition. There are plenty of other motivations. And most of these aren’t at all conscious; they’re just sociological influences that help confine, define, and determine action.

However, to be a Christian is to be one who is called by God. This “calling” has two parts. We are both called into God’s favor, and called unto God’s mission. Often Christians can see only one of the two. For instance, some say that being a Christian is about going to heaven when you die and that means you need to ask Jesus in your heart and you’re done; being called unto God’s mission is tacked onto the end on this understanding. For others being a Christian has to do with having a good lifestyle by refraining from worldly evils and doing quiet times and going to church and through these things you’ll hopefully experience God and come into his favor; this makes our call into God’s favor something that is just tacked on at the end. But to be Christians we have to have a full, two-sided call. The Church exists both as God’s beloved people and as God’s mission to save the world, and that means breaking down the oppression of homosexuals and extending grace in the peace of Christ.

The Church’s first response has to be to level the standards. We need to combat social taboos against g@ys — we are failing if g@ys are not attending our churches — and refuse to be easy on socially acceptable ills. But this is meaningless apart from the formation of the kind of community in the Church — as the Body of Christ by the Spirit, fed by the Spirit on the Body of Christ — that can respond to the evils perpetrated against homosexuals that contribute to the ire of the homosexual community (/ies). Do we have the kind of community where there is more meaning to life than vacant bourgeois sexual exploration? Do we have the kind of peaceful community that is distinct from the hostile families and communities that exist? In Christ, this is who and what we are, who and what we can be.

LOL. I agree. But it is a big issue to the homosexual community, of which is the heart of this documentary.

Sadly, the US population doesn’t see that W. Bush and his ilk need to keep two Americas. Almost nobody who has an education, good job or good prospects joins the Army. The US is so hard up for new bodies that it takes high school dropouts, criminals and foreigners. So Bush exploits these poor and uneducted people because they are no other options. Peple like Romney with 5 sons and W. Bush with 2 daughters would never have them enlist. Bush and Clinton both evaded service too. Now they need the people in the second America to kill and be killed in Iraq to secure oil and billions of dollars for Bush, Cheney, Haliburton and other US companies. BTW if it wasn’t for the govenment keeping people poor, corporations wouldn’t be able to get so rich because they would have to pay higher wages and more taxes. So God bless the poor and the rich bless the President. I wonder how many of the Americans that died in Iraq and poor that work for McDonalds or Wal-Mart voted for Bush and how many of the survivors will still vote for McCain or Clinton.
