    I’m totally surprised at the amount of pointless crappy apps people install on their pcs.

    Could you not just .. you know .. use folders to organise your movies?

    Just a thought.

    Anything that uses the word ‘extreme’ in it’s title serious suffers from a lack of innovation and imagination.

    This one is a nice app, specially for people who have lots of xvids, divx movies on their pc. This app can scan the hard drive and import the movies into its database and then retrieve movie info from a host of websites automatically. Great app…thanks…

    @Samuel
    You might want to check out the Linux/Python port of “Ant Movie Catalog” http://www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog

    The port is called Moviefly.

    Hope this helps.

    I don’t recommend people use Movie Collectorz since every version I have tried is not fully cracked. You download more than 50 lookups from Collectorz.com’s database and then the program blows up and refuses to download more than that. I have tried 3-4 cracks, they all look like they work, no more nag screens etc., but in the end they aren’t really cracked.

    hi folks,

    did anyone tried this release?? Dunno what I´m doing wrong, but
    I think prog is full of bugs & errors, crashes nearly everytime especially when you try to update from IMDB DB (complete or fastest doesn’t matter) :-(

    The program runs fine for me here under Vista. I will also say this is the only program I have found that will manage your TV shows that you have downloaded or recorded via MCE.

    If anyone knows of any other TV show manager programs for keeping track of every episode you have on DVDs let me know. This is the only one that tracks each episode, imports the codex info (video dimensions/bit rate/audio track info) and if a container is used it will import all the info from the video container and the file name as well.

    where are the movie manager programs that actually play the movie you are browsing in the program???????????????

    gah. i found 1, but its not as pretty as Collectorz.

    surely, by now this would be a obvious necessity :S a simple play button isn’t too much to ask, now is it? :S
