For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier (Stewart), who preaches tolerance, and Magneto (McKellen), who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test — triggering the war to end all wars.

I was about to grab this release when I read this on VCDq…

    “Some strange glitches at
    Frame 31592
    Frame 39793
prob more, not to mention 1 cd and mp3 for a film like this could be signs of a proper in the future.
Movie was shit compared to the first two.
/edit not to mention it’s out of sync around 27 min mark”

Doesn’t sound that excellent to me!

Excellent? Try to watch this on 50″ plasma and you will see.
Those old damn scene rules needs an update.

hey releaselog should stop those stupid “amazing release” or “amazing dvdrip” blabla. They aint amazing any more than that they are just ripped straight off the retail dvd. ANYONE can do that using the right tools. It’s not like someone built a pyramid in the egypt or stole the mona lisa painting, it’s hardly much effort other than actually getting hold of a copy. Which ain’t hard, the retail dvd is already in circulation. I work in retail sales business and we already got stock of it but ain’t allowed to sell before releasedate (though some people break this rule). It’s pretty normal for most popular dvds to have finished production about a month before release, and already started shipping to retailers.

Ehm… Mojje, if you have 50″ plasma, costing much as f… very much, why don’t you buy original dvds? Give me a break, you download movie for free and complain. No one gives a damn about your TV. Buy HD copy if you want amazing quality.

Well, nobody can proper with 2cd and AC3..
Because the rules says clear that it has to be 105min on one cd if its a FILM.

So yeah.. The rules sucks about that. ;-)
And if bajs can get dvds 1month before retail, then I suggest you get in touch with a dvd-grp. =P
14days no problem… But 1month is long time.
Check most rlses, all got 14days pre before streetdate.
Because thats when storages & special-stores get them.

    @jesus

usually dvds are ready off the production line about a month before release. trust me, i know the industry. its not too usual that stores get the dvds a month before, thats true. but usually always 14 days before. but 1 month happens too. this is for big commercial titles though. then its a matter of how fast groups get their hands on the disc. sometimes they get it from or close to the factory plant origins. other times its almost at the retail end. maybe they even have to purchase it. or borrow a reviewer copy which circulate earlier than release date too. something like that.

Does anyone know whether or not there is a fix to this synch issue? On previously out of synch films fixes have been released to reencode the movie and get rid of the need for downloading a proper.

@Mojje – see? Another argument for no complaining – if you can’t get it faster legally, shut your mouth and watch good copy (now even better, after proper) month before street release.
