Evil Dead 2 1987 720p BluRay x264-SiNNERS

Yep, again a HDRiP from… do I really have to say it again? Ok: SiNNERS. These guys release stuff EVERY DAY it seems, they are doing a massive job! Again with a 80’s movie. I haven’t seen this one myself so I can’t really give you info about the movie or something myself, I think you’ll just have to see for yourself. Oh, and the snaps don’t look very good because I tried almost 10 times, but they keep blurred. This is because the screen was moving. Quality is just fine (take a look at the video sample).

Ash – the sole survivor of the original ‘Evil Dead’ – returns with his girlfriend Linda to the remote cabin in the woods. He discovers a tape recorder that a professor had used to record incantations from the Necronomicon XMortis – the Book of the Dead. When he turns it on, the recording releases a dark, sinister force from the woods. It turns Linda into a zombie, her soul possessed by some hideous demon, and then tries to do the same to Ash. Other people come to help Ash, but one by one they are taken over by the Evil Dead force that also possesses Linda, the Professor, and the Professor’s wife…and they try to make sure Ash is…Dead by Dawn!

The Evil Dead movies are cult movies for a good reason. Great horror with humorus overtones. And Bruce Campell is the king of the nerds, just look at Bubba ho-tep :)

Hi guys, please help me sort this out! What are these hd rips for? I mean i unrar them and the make .mkv file? Read up on .mkv and cant really find an easy way of getting them on disk. Is there an easy way? or will i have to get an expensive graphics card to play from pc to hd tv? Any help appreciated, cheers, tr

    @19:

If you have a xbox 360 you can stream it through that to your TV with Media Center

no xbox 360 m8, any other way?

mkv is just a container, like avi, and bluray is also a misnomer, because if it’s bluray or not is determined by the playback medium, not by its digital state as a file.

The fact that it’s x264 is what you need to pay attention to, it’s the highest quality video compression codec by far right now. Most PC’s from 2004 and onwards are able to play this back just fine, on average. You only need a nice mediaplayer, like KMplayer – at http://kmp.ma.cx/ for example, it can also be downloaded from the Asian forum of its creator. It can open and playback mkv perfectly.

The line between playback from dedicated HD/BluRay hardware or playback straight from harddisk (your PC) is so thin these days, I won’t bother even trying to explain that anymore.

    October 7th, 2007 | 23:25

KMplayer was one of the biggest waste of time. Stop trying to sell that horrible Media player.

We all know VLC is the only real player around.

Correction: Ash does NOT return to the cabin in the woods, he never went there before. The movie Evil Dead 2 is just a remake of the first film The evil dead. The plot is exactly the same with just a few more things thrown in. The budget is better though so the second one is better ofcourse.

For some reason these movies has been labeled as a trilogy but a more correct labeling would be:

The Evil dead – Dead at dawn
Evil Dead – Dead at dawn remake
Evil Dead 2 – Army of darkness

Unfortunately, moviefolk are insane and now we have to live with this mess

    October 8th, 2007 | 03:15

Yes, good points killawife, I totally agree.

The Creme of the Crop is when Ash is loosing his sanity with the furniture, deer head and lampshade. Watching this movie while on LSD is exactly what I need.

Also, Army of Darkness (ED3) is a real let down, but still has a few decent scenes.

    #19 correction

evil dead 2 only remade evil dead 1 in compressed form the first 15min of the film, the rest of it, starting from when ash lands in the puddle, is all sequel.

evil dead – pure horror with some comedy mixed in
evil dead 2: dead by dawn – horror-comedy
    army of darkness – comedy-horror

@24; You clearly don’t know what you’re writing about.
VLC can’t even play borderless, misses a huge amount of options that KMPlayer fully embraces. Also, Kang’s code is a lot better optimized (thus cleaner and faster) for Windows and modern day CPU’s.

VLC is nice if you run Linux or BSD etc. I use both, but using KMPlayer is a relief in the mess of crappy adware players that are out there. Stop trying to talk crap about a player you probably never even use(d). KMP is simply more advanced than VLC.

    October 8th, 2007 | 23:00

Yeah, it’s getting pretty annoying with the new hd films never actually coming out. Same thing with S.W.A.T., Zodiac, Billy Madison, Running Scared. People (including me) get all excited about a great film in HD. And then it never gets upped. What’s up with that?

Actually, it’s available as a torrent at funfile.org, which is a very good community to be a member of. They understand the torrent basics (no silly rars).

This is not the famous Boomstick scene Shop S-Mart movie. That’s the followup to this one.

    killawife:
    how wrong you are
the second evil dead movie isn’t a remake.
the first 20 minutes of the movie are a summery of the first, unfortunately they couldnt get the original cast so it went from 4 people to just ash and linda. The actual story of ED2 starts when the evil flies up the cabin and hits ash in the face, which is where the first evil dead left off.

    Thank you come again
