This is probably another trial release, just download it from ESET site, about crack..There is a forum where you can find the crack, I'll post the download link, it worked perfectly for me, extends your trial for forever, so it will always say 31 or 30 days and still will update (BTW install is on spanish so just click the button with an arrow of some kind):

Nod 32 was one of the best.. But it's not good anymore, I recommend Avira (Free) which is free and without any limits.

Don't get this release.
The update crack either works (supposedly) for 3 months or doesn't work at all.
Also; the uninstallation of this app is proving to be a total pain in the ass. I can't uninstall it as 'CACHE.ndb' is always in use??

Upon running the main app, I get a request from a program named Key.exe for access to Internet. This could be a trojan. Why is it asking for internet access right after launching the app? Suspicious !

Kyle, boot windows into safe mode and then uninstall. When you boot your PC up keep pressing F8 to get into the boot options screen and choose "Safe Mode".
This aint working…i cant get the license to work anyhow, plus it blocks my internet 2-3 min after restarting every time and when i try to install it get thats 'CACHE.ndb' in use msg…So i guess u should pass this and wait for a proper release…

You can update it with v3.0.684.0 and it still works great.

I put this together myself, tested many times with different variations, and it works well. All you have to do is run it and read the info on the screen.
It is self installing, settings entered, self-cracking, scheduled, and will search and insert a valid license for updating virus definitions whenever necessary.
In the previous five months this has been downloaded approx. 15,000 times from various sites. I have received about ten 'virus/worm/trojan' accusations, a couple of 'doesn't update', and very many 'Thanks, works great!'.The License workaround script that may show up as a false positive from time to time. That's why it's added to NOD's Exclusion list. There are no bugs and it updates just fine.
If you have problems updating with your version 4.0.314:
1. Open Nod window.
2. Press F5
3. Scroll down to update in the setup tree and click it.
4. Look for "Edit" button at the update settings window and click it.

I've been using and figuring out update server circumvention methods ever since nsane's 2.7 fix… and so far very few have worked.

Download one retail release… this one from UNION is good… but it's not the SCENE's first… any retail version that won't expire will do!
Use those credentials that you got by e-mail in the retail software and have 30 days of no-worry updates!
After the 30 days are over… do it all over again with a different e-mail address!
Consider that there are no working cracks for this… it's either a deception.. like a cosmetic fix… it works for 4000 years people… come right up! come right up!… or a dodgy solution that will work temporarily using fake servers of even the trial servers which lag behind!

I must say, I really miss the old interface. The new one is confusing and never, ever stops whining about me having turned off the useless email protection. It took me ages to figure out how to keep it from turning itself on automatically. What a piece of cr*p
Scene releases of Eset products just wont work forever. What you should do is download the installer of NOD32 and a little aplication called "License Finder"… it just goes online and update the license with the ones listed on those chinese sites, so that you dont need to finde a license, che if it works and change it, this little app does it all by its own.

Tried that, can't be uninstalled in safe mode. Had to go do a repair install; then delete registry keys – specific folders as advised on some forum I found; etc etc.
All in all it was more hassle than it was worth. I used to think high of NOD32, now avast! appears to be far better (not to mention it's free!)

Extract these files and copy them into a folder inside your USB stick. This way you have the cumulative Updates for NOD32 and wil be able to update any PC without internet access.
How-To:
1 – Open NOD32 windows -> Setup -> "Display Advanced Mode" (Below)
2 – Enter entire advanced setup tree -> Update -> Edit
3 – Now just paste the folders path. Done.
Press Update. That's all.
