Enemy Territory Quake Wars-RELOADED

RELOADED are back again with the a very impressive release. They have managed to bag Enemy Territory Qauke Wars! Getting this title out the door first should help step up their rep a bit! :) . Quake Wars is the follow up to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory except that it is set in the Quake world. Also this game serves as the prequel to Quake II. Even though its a really cool game its effect is kind of diminished because this will NOT work online which is pretty normal with warez releases, it’s just more annoying on a game that focuses on mulitplayer like this. So there is no online mulitplayer at all just the singleplayer campaign. If you want mulitplayer you need a legit key and that’s something RELOADED or any other games group can provide as the keys work on blacklisting type system. You need to buy the game to get a legit key! Other than that this will be a great way to start the new school term, by not doing any work! :D . Enjoy!

Serving as the prequel to id Software’s legendary QUAKE II®, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is the ultimate online team and objective-based multiplayer experience. Set within the epic QUAKE® universe in the year 2065, the game pits the Allied troops of the Global Defense Force (GDF) against a sinister new Axis – the marauding, technologically advanced Strogg – during their initial invasion of Earth.

Gamers choose to play as Human or Strogg in one of five unique character classes. Employing an arsenal of weapons, vehicles and deployable armaments, players engage in an action-packed test of skill and coordinated teamwork through a series of combat objectives. Persistent character growth and achievements reward players for teamwork, while clearly defined mission and class objectives guide new players to meaningful contributions on the battlefield.

In development for the Windows PC platform at Splash Damage, co-creators of the award winning Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and in conjunction with id Software, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars employs id Software’s new MegaTexture graphics technology, delivering large outdoor battlefields of unrivaled detail. These lifelike recreations of real-world environments are designed specifically for objective-based team combat and include realistic terrain, lighting, special effects and atmospheric conditions.

Features:

  • Team-Based, Strategic Missions – Gameplay in Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is all about conquering and securing enemy territory, and pushing forward or holding your team’s front line. Players must work together using their vehicles, deployables, and character class abilities to complete objectives, defend valuable installations, or execute massive assaults. The gameplay is designed to allow players of every skill level to jump into a match and make a sizeable contribution to the overall mission. Every player’s choice of character class, along with their actions play a critical role throughout as they gain rank, upgrade skills and provide specialist abilities necessary for victory.
  • Unique Teams and Character Classes – With “asymmetric gameplay,” the characters of both the GDF and the Strogg look, move, and behave uniquely. Bases, characters, vehicles and weapons demonstrate the different technologies and behavior of each side and require distinctive approaches to combat from each player. For example, a GDF Medic can heal and quickly revive injured or fallen soldiers on the field, while the Strogg Technician may use a GDF corpse as a “host” body for a waiting Strogg reinforcement. Similarly, the GDF Field Ops will deploy and call-in a laser-guided strategic strike missile, while the Strogg Opressor peppers a GDF convoy with his Plasma Mortar. Players can choose one of five character classes unique to each force, including the GDF’s Soldier, Field Ops, Engineer, Covert Ops and Medic, or the Strogg’s Aggressor, Opressor, Constructor, Infiltrator, and Technician.
  • Weapons, Vehicles, Deployables – The weapons, vehicles and deployables in Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars are much more than standard issue equipment. Each selection truly affects gameplay and is integral to a team’s success or failure. Set in the relative near future, the Human arsenal is based on ultramodern updates to today’s conventional Earth arsenal, while the Strogg utilize a more advanced technology suitable for conquering vastly different alien worlds. The GDF use weapons, and vehicles such as machine guns, rocket launchers, armored personnel carriers, and hover-copters, among others. Conversely, the Strogg’s technology is built on the manipulation of energy and gravity and includes assets like the Hyper Blaster, Lightening Gun, a giant mech-walker, a hover tank, vertical take-off and landing Hornet, and more. Players will also utilize unique strategic assets like radar, auto targeting anti-personnel or vehicle turrets, artillery or strategic strike missiles – all of which are realistically deployed onto the battlefield when and where you choose.
  • Ground-Breaking Technology – Using id Software’s new MegaTexture™ rendering technology, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars renders large, highly detailed and un-tiled outdoor environments all the way to the horizon. Outdoor dynamic lighting allows for every battle to be fought during day or night, with accurate simulation of shadows, atmosphere, vegetation, and weather. Advanced real-time physics, and all new network code support large-scale military combat for up to 24 players through real-world locations, including deserts, glaciers, mountains, and countryside.

I really hope this game doesn’t suck as much as the last Quake. I’m still going to keep my hopes up and download it, for it is a great release! It’s good to see they go on from Quake 2 instead of Arena or IV, and the multiplayer is a very nice feature.

Fancy a game of WAR anyone?

Like I said in the post above, I think it’s better to buy games like this. It supports the PC gaming industry, (so developers can focus on it instead of making childish games for the consoles), there’s less of a hassle, online multiplayer, and if you have limited bandwidth, you don’t need to download so many gig’s.

Unless your the type that’ll play the game for an hour then quit, then the price tag is obviously not worth it. Personally, I like to buy a game like HL2 w/ CSS and BF2 and then play the game for hundreds of hours.

the bf games dont even compare guys. i’ve played ut and q3 for years and by the time i found out about wolf:et it had died. so i couldnt wait for this. i played the bf2 demo AFTER the etqw demo to see what naysayers like you were complaining about (bf2 being better etc) – bf2 is okay but its fucking boring compared to etqw. at least this has real objectives, not ’stand by a fucking flag’

    DaLoon:

You are a massive retard. The BETA of Team Fortress 2 has been out for ages via pre-orders on steam. Also for us pirates there is a ‘nosteam’ copy that works nicely with many cracked servers.

Do your homework before saying retarded comments such as “there is no way of playing it yet”

You are the fucking noob my friend.

  52. bossnanova
    September 26th, 2007 | 21:05

    @47

TF2 has been out for over a week now. It’s a beta (if you pre-purchased Orange Box through Steam), but I haven’t noticed any problems and it seems to be already optimized. Runs great on highest settings on my aging system and it’s a lot of fun.

Anyway, again, how long is a Single player campaign in Quake Wars, or is there a single player campaign at all?

  53. Lucid Harmony
    September 26th, 2007 | 21:12

Quake Wars is fun, worth the dollar to buy, downloading it seems slightly pointless. To the retard at @51, QW is not better than BF2 or 2142, just different. It’s completely different, the only similar thing is its an fps with teams. QW is much more like Q2/Q3, one bunnyhopping maniac can tear apart your team. “Real Objectives” you speak of are a lot easier to take than the flags in BF2142 anyways. Until you’ve played a lot of all 3 games your judgement means zip.

@52 Cracked Servers for the most part are horribly lame, filled with hackers. The Beta of TF2 is tight though, needs some tweaking but it should be a good one.

    Hi there,
u can’t play this without Key and there is no single-Player Option……….by the way, I guess it’s not from Reloaded, b’coz Reloaded always say : 5. Play the game.

Comments section is for comments on games, not on others posts…

If you have a question about the game goto its website…

Sometimes i really wish all the problem people on the internet had their address next to their name so we could “talk” in person…

BF2, BF2142 were fun and enjoyable for awhile but it HAS been awhile. QWs is here now so have fun with something new. Its not like all the games in the world end when a new one comes out. Play what you like, but for gods sakes no one gives a FUCK what you think on the internet so stop flaming others. The only time fighting fire with fire works is when the other fire is a bomb… address anyone?

Hmm to those who assumed it may be better than BF2 it aint and as a QW vet, lover and one who wished it was more like the original this game is mmmm average. Cheers to RLSLOG as they are fantastic and are my number one source of new shit but seriously this game is not as good as hoped.

Do you know how to use your (very) high end system? Do you have (very) new drivers? Sound cards/drivers are (very) often problems in my exeperience with these problems.

    Hi! I am new here, so I don’t know much! I got some questions;

How do you host a LAN game when you don’t got a CD-Key?
And how can you play on cracked servers?
I saw Speedcow said something about this.

Thanks for any help! :o )

Thus game plays like command and conquer renengade online and BF 1942 and and some other ones, its basicly a ripoff of other games combined into 1 MP game.

Looks like id has finally run out of gaming power steam. No longer are they worthy of respect in the gaming realm. They might as well close shop and get jobs at burger king.

re:1000 times better than BF2 or BF2142, forget about bs games

actually thats BS, both QW and crysis try to be between genres, witch means a have a little from BF genre and CS genre = the both fail miserably as majority dedicated players on those genres will hate the game style of the other, making a game in the middle will feel LAME or inadequate as they have LESS from they preferred genre

well of course there is the players who really don’t care with what they shooting for them FPS=FPS for those QW and crysis will be great

i actually don’t like this game, i played the demo but as i’m bored i guess it will be ok for a few days = trying the vehicles and seeing the new maps

does thins not work with HAMACHI ? no one mentioning that so i guess i have to see for my self

re: how to play/host LAN ?

GUYS are you kidding me ???? how the hell would you play a game on a LAN event/party where there is NO!!! internet access ? guys think before you ask/talk, LAN game do not need internet access to verify your CDKEY = you do NOT need a original CDKEY
