Enemy Engaged 2-RELOADED

This isn’t going to be point and click type of game but one were you have to press loads of buttons to get anything to happen. The trailer looks good though, click on the “Homepage” button below to check it out.

The torrent works, installed with latest daemon, no problems at all. No crack needed. Save your bandwidth though, the game REALLY sucks. Scores 1/5 in 2007, 1/5 in 2000, 4/5 in 1995.

Okay this should work, go to “START/RUN and type msconfig when the box appears click on the tab on the right “STARTUP” I have turned every thing off except Daemon, Skype, MSN and Tray icon. Once I had restarted EE2 worked perfectly.

    May 26th, 2007 | 17:42

This worked for me, goto START/RUN and type msconfig, when msconfig starts click on the startup tab and untick all the box’s…actually all I left running was Skype and Daemon tools. Once I rebooted the game started first time

    Whit those whit EXE problems:
    - Try to turn music off ( must be quick ;-) ), then exit the game-to save changes, start again. Ist worked for me (I got also exe problems).
Second way: U can awoid it if u start quickly a mission (skirmish or …) - worked in my case also

this game crashed my computer and i had to go to ‘last known good configuration’ so obviously it fucks something in the current control set. other than that, the game loaded and i THINK i was in a mission… the UI is so bad its like from a pre-pre-pre alpha build or something. It’s as if they started making this game a week ago then released it today. The animations don’t even work on the helicopter models. SAVE YOUR BANDWIDTH

To those having problems getting the game to run.
Go to the game dir, and look for the .ini … (think it’s eech.ini) in the same dir as the exe.
Open the .ini, look for the [graphics] section.
Look for a line saying something about “fixes no device found”

So what if they were making money, its freaking asia who cares what happens over there.

  27. May 27th, 2007 | 20:30

First, those that say the game sucks obviously have no clue on what a combat sim is and most likely you are not into military simulations… which is what this is.

This game is IDENTICAL to the original Enemy Engaged EXCEPT the graphics and sound have been updated to take advantage of newer processors.

I am a bit disappointed because I would have hoped they would have added more to the sim and gameplay instead of just rehashing the same original code. It would have been nice to be able to control the combat units as well such as tanks, arty, other air assets etc etc etc… To just release basically the same game again is not my idea of a “new” release.

But, for those that know and understand what Enemy Engaged is, you will enjoy the new graphics engine and continue to enjoy one of the best military tactical combat systems around.

For those that just say the game sucks… go play something you like and don’t judge something you do not even understand. It does not suck.. .it is the same game released years before is all.

    I agree with Malakie.
Works on my system. AMD64bit 3200+, XP-64bit(2003 with SP2), 1 gig ram, FX5200 card. Oh and get MagicDisc ya n00bs AND it is free. I think the industry has adapted to how daemon tools work… maybe, not so sure. Cool sim.

For all those who have problem running the game:

There is a bug in the original game v1.0, as one file is missing. It’s “dbghelp.dll”, which is causing the game to crash on some systems.

Download the offical patch v.1.01 to resolve it. GameSpot has it, go here and grab one: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/gamespace/download_alt.php?pid=938724&sid=6182142&id=6182142
