Here is an Second Update from RazorDOX for the game “Empire Total War ”

Empire: Total War maintains the series’ genre-leading 3D battles, grand turn-based campaign map and rich historical flavor while for the first time introducing 3D naval combat into the series.     I have read almost all post and the topics are console and piracy.
    Here some short opinion from me
    Piracy is something who think it is piracy.
    console or pc arguing is not related anymore.As long you can play well and beat the game it is ok.Buy all.Console + PC.Play all.Do not limited your device.PC is good and so do PS3,Xbox,Wii.I got them all and play them all.They are good and don't give a s**t who is the best.All this comparison is just wasting your time and let the developer compete between themselves.You don't brought all your money when you die,so buy anything you like because if you don't when you die someone will use your money.LOL.

    If I may point out the update you link to appears to be similar to the razordox release (minus the sound files). The grand campaign savefiles still cannot be loaded (mine cannot).

    I suspect that people that manage to use their old save files are either playing the Road to Independence campaign or have somehow managed to avoid memory leak in the save files.

    For those that are considering whether to update or not, I would say to go ahead anyway. If you are unlucky as I was you may get the GC bug (I am talking about unpatched game) where faction turn phase lasts up to 45 minutes. I don't know if this bug is linked to the memory leak issue but it pretty much makes game unplayable (well, I guess those of you that are very patient wouldn't mind the bug). What's worse, the bug doesn't become apparent untill 40 to 60 turns into the grand campaign.

    If there are people out there that manage to load grand campaign saves would you please post size of your savefile, the turn you are playing (or year) or anything else that may help.

    !!!UPDATE!!!

    I didn't follow excatly Poison's instructions. After I downloaded the following files (Em-TW-original-PSN-rar, the link is provided by poison) I was able to load the Grand Campaign save game!

    However the bug with faction turn phase length remains. I have no idea what causes the issue.

    update went ok,but still i have the same problems,crash on desktop on turn 15 in Grand campaign,crash on desktop on the end at the battle of Bunker Hill from RTI campaign!Guess i have to wait a little bit longer to play this game,cause in this release it,s unplayable!

    lots of off topic BS, THX FOR THE GAME UPDATE !!, this is what THIS TOPIC is about.

    As for piracy , because game design companies are so greedy and charge £40.00 ($80.00) plus , for a game that lasts sometimes only 5 days, they themselves turn people to piracy

    due to high cost and often short game play , people will turn to alternate methods of getting the game – simply – most games produced are not worth the price we are asked to pay.

    come on – to play 2 top games a month – WE HAVE TO SPEND
    £100/$200 – get real !!! how many people spend that on games each month – and if u do – well your just making the big fat cat game companies ritcher

    i respect the effort and time a game takes to build/test and release but to fight piracy – prices need to come down alot !!!!!!

    I wonder if this was a real genuine update that razor packed to fix the game or something he just repackaged?

    As for the piracy topic, i have looked everywhere in my region for the real physical version of the game because it is the one i want. and there is none to be found…no wonder people turn to piracy….the game is not just on the shelves….

    Does actually have problem with the navy ?? Sometimes when i click on a fleet (or harboured fleet), there is a 20secs lag or the game crashes completely with "ETW stopped working blablabla" I play british (now in year 1769) and it is more and more frequent – just before a while i played for two minutes :-)

    I followed all the instructions to get the game working at:

    Everything went quite smoothly untill one time i had a crash to desktop. So i decided to try the update. Since the original instructions on the above adress worked fine, i followed the instructions for the update as well….

    I regret doing that now, since the whole game won't start anymore :( I press the empire.exe and nothing happens….

    Is there anyone that has had the same problem ? If so what did you do to solve it ?

    Memory leaks are not fixed by this update – at least not in my game. You can check yourself whether you have memory leak by starting a new game and saving immidiatly. Then press the end turn button and save again (do not overwrite the old file). Exit the game and compare the file sizes. Usually the original save shouldn't be over 25 mb and the second one should also not be much larger than that. If it is much larger you likely have memory leak issues and you may just as well give up on starting new campaigns for time being.

    I'm having serious memory leak problems (at least I think so).

    Playing on Low settings, I get ~30-40 minutes of gameplay.

    Playing on High settings, I get 5-15 minutes of gameplay.

    But only after I play a real-time battle. If I autoresolve everything, it works just fine, but after playing real-time battles I believe my graphics card memory runs out (on an XFX GeForce 8800GTX 768mb card), the screen goes black and then I get a BSOD. Could also be that I run out of RAM, but I've got 3gb so I think I should be fine there.

    sorry for the simplicity of the question but ive looked for it and noone seems to clarify, how do you run this update, is there an installer or something coz all I see are some files named rzr-etp2 with numbers from 1 to 33, and also an NFO setup which doesnt seem to bo big things, so thats my question, how is the proccess, or how to start the installation of the patch-update, please really bage you to answer.

    1) You need to extract the archive. If you have problems, rename rzr-etp2.001 to rzr-etp2.001.rar and extract that.

    2) Move the extracted file called "update.exe" to your ETW install directory and run it.

    3) Copy the cracked "Empires.exe" from the Razor1911 folder to your ETW install directory.

    Razor1911 should just disband. their arrogance led them to attempt to code up a loader that doesn't work. then they go off and literally make their own patch, based on tools, and I wouldn't be surprised if they stole it and recoded it to put their name on it. No, I won't download this. Razor1911=EpicFail

    always fail saving game after some turns, its always crash…
    playing in window and lower res than desktop, now i can play hours without crash…

    CA release a new update (26.3.09) in the steam system i hope that soon its will be available to this release it fix alot of but the most common bugs in game the crushes and all the other thing for more information you can read this release note:
    Load time detection on trade routes to fix pathfinding crash in campaign
    - Some General Sound balancing improvements
    - Fixed UI Chat hang when spectator leaves unranked match with 3+ players
    - Various Campaign Crash Fixes
    - Some Save/Load fixes
    - Boarding fix where cannon crew board order was not being deleted properly causing crash
    - Fix to kill characters instantly to stop crashes in campaign on agent/general deaths.
    - Save games limited to 1000
    - Fix to animation glitch causing repetitive sounds when battle is launched.
    - Multiplayer – can now find friends across regions

    Sorry, but i find only that 3.
    Hard to find.
    Its total ~ 51 MB. And ETW it working very good so far.
    Corrupt saved games came alive. That is worth a shoot.

    I think that problem is in cracked exe. What version of
    ETW do you have?

    The newest patch (30.4.2009) work with RAZOR ETW Spec. Forces
    + Update 2 Razor DOX.

    Still some CDT accour, but rarely.

    I had working razor ETW with Update 5+6,

    Just run the game with cracked empire exe. It will work, but
    special edition units and dlc will not be recrutable.
    Thath is the problem with update 6 razordox.

    Revloader and other files i take from update 5 torrent and
    for me its working witout CDT.

    all that c-rap about ps3 beating a computer at graphics. ever seen crysis highest 2560×1600? ha, suc-k on that ps3ers and xboxers(wait, xboxers don't even have a say in this….)

    unless someone tells me thery own both a ps3 and a crazy comp to play crysis on that res….the ps3ers are just trying the comfort themselves

    Yes it is. Work just fine .

    Special Forces and DLC units enable mod

    Install :

    1. Install Updates 5,6
    2. Install update 8 ( patch 1.4 )
    3. Download DLCadd file and from there:
    4. put the user.empire_script.txt here
    C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    5. and the pack files in Empire Total War\Data folder
    6. Start game with revloader or new fixed exe

    Again you have all SF and DLC units.

    @arubba thx for the 1.5 patch, it(the one on 217thread) worked perfectely but when i installed DLC patch (208 thread) it won’t start. may be it doesn’t work with 1.5patch i would be thankful if you could give new DLC addon version working with 1.5 version

    unfortunatly the update from clean install to v1.5
    from post 215 doesn´t work for me.
    The game starts with loading screen but immediatly crashes to desktop then.

    Have also tried the hotfix from post 220 and dlc units enable mod although I don´t think it has something to do with..

    Has someone the same probs or could anyone help?

    Ok problem solved !!

    download form post 215 definetly works !!

    I have just forgotten the old user.empire_script.txt file
    which had a “modfile” in there.

    So after deleting it all works now!!

    No, you dont. For prophet version download skidrow 1.5 patch.
