the movie is 8/10 for me on imdb, which means it is good. great story development. the video on this release is not that bad actually and 700mb which is actually favorable by the majority of leechers. i don’t know if it’s only me but there is a slight aspect ratio issue. the actors are thin.

yea i can fit any movie on 1cd but if you have a movie like potc3 youre going to end up with a 300kbps bitrate and 64kbps stereo audio. the scene is about producing high quality material not about squeezing ŝhït on 1cd so that some stupid n00b such as yourself can download it with limewire in a couple of hours. so stfu cuz you obviously dont know ŝhït about this.

im waiting for the 2 cd version.

as for the ‘who uses CDs these days?’ comment. obviously no one is using cds these days. but 700 is just an arbitrary number now, but a good rule of thumb. a 2+ hour movie does look a bit dodgy if compressed less than 700Mb. the fact that that’s the capacity of a CDR really doesnt matter. once the time goes over that, im happy to download 1.4Gb.

I can see some merit for the scene changing the rules, like 700Mb, is the minimum, and than a scaled rule where 3 hours is 1.4Gb, and if the movie length is in between, then look up the scale to see what the end file size should be. but considering most movies would be over 1Gb, then whats it matter.

As for buying the DVD if you worry about video quality. I think owning a hard copy of a movie is stupid. I’m not gonna watch it again. I could hire it sure, but i cant be f**ked going down a shop and becoming a member.

I EFFING hate 1.4 gig rips, so un-neccessary… if you want 1000% quality, buy the damn dvd, i download a million movies a week, doubling that is quite alot. why bother… If aXXo (who is apparently dead), can fit almost any movie on a 700 mb cd… everyone should!
