Last few days were pretty good in terms of new movie releases and guys from DiAMOND make it even better: they released a dvdrip of a biographical drama Elizabeth: The Golden Age just a few minutes ago. The movie holds a solid rating at IMDB and critics seem to like it as well so if you’re into medieval times and haven’t seen it yet, give it a go. I would be happier to see this as a 2CD release but DiAMOND knows their work good enough to preserve a solid quality. English/French/Spanish subtitles included.

The story of Queen Elizabeth I, from her days as an innocent young woman to her coronation, up to the formation of her reputation as England’s stern “Virgin Queen”. A lush portrait of history, full of pomp, intrigue, and romance and anchored by Blanchett’s award-winning performance and colorful direction from Indian newcomer Kapur. Academy Award winner for Best Makeup, Nominations for Best Picture, Best Actress, Cinematography, Art Direction/Set Direction, Costume Design, Dramatic Score.

“The Golden Age” finds Queen Elizabeth I (Oscar®-winner Cate Blanchett) facing bloodlust for her throne and familial betrayal.     A 6.9 rating on imdb doesn’t seem so solid, but then again people are stupid(me included).
    And critics like this movie? NO, but the may “Seem” to.
    The rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 34%
    The rating on Metacritic 45% by critic and 60% by users.

    You dudes need to chill. It’s obviously not posted on NewTorrents yet. Sometimes it’s not uploaded yet and the link will direct you an R5 or a cam or whatever of the movie until this particular DVDrip torrent is uploaded. Chill. It’s just a template that RLSlog uses to post movie posts and within that template a NewTorrent link is posted, but that doesn’t mean the movie is posted yet on the site, so again, chill, it will be there. My only suggestion to you is, join a private torrent site like Bitsoup, Revolution, et cetera, as torrent links are posted within a half hour of pre time of the release as NewTorrents takes about an hour to two hours sometimes until the movie is uploaded and a torrent link is available for d/l. TRON out.

    Pardon, 124 min is the other Elizabeth, the 1998 one with the very same Cate Blanchett in it. This one is 114 min, which is still long enough to qualify a [usually expected from Diamond] quality release of 1.4Gb. Boo.

    Flyupload link works quite well i got an average 330-350 kB/s for the whole download approx 30min. Which is pretty good as all i’ve been getting this week so far has been 30-60 kB/s from flyupload, yas and adrive thanx Tito.

    The movie quality seems ok to me not pixelated and audio is definately english and seems in synch throughout (just scanned through though).

    That Cloverfield dvdscr is obviously a fake, if it were real it would’ve been out.
    If you pay close enough attention you can see it’s photoshopped or w/e.
    You will see the location of the “property of” message on the first 2 compared to the “property of” message on the third pic differ slightly.

    I saw this in the cinema and it was very very good. I think her acting is spot on and the whole movie grabs you in. From a historical point of view very interesting as well.

    What is this obesession with 700MB file sizes. Are people still using CD-R discs? surely not… What is wrong with 1.46GB at least you get better video bitrate than 683 kbs, that’s not even worth downloading. Normally Diamond is very good but this release is sub-standard.

    @86 Click Request in Request Download Link and then after that click the “F” in Downloading File (near the right). It takes a bit to figure out the first time, think of it like Where’s Waldo, except with the word Request and the letter “F”.

    I EFFING hate 1.4 gig rips, so un-neccessary… if you want 1000% quality, buy the damn dvd, i download a million movies a week, doubling that is quite alot. why bother… If aXXo (who is apparently dead), can fit almost any movie on a 700 mb cd… everyone should!

    im waiting for the 2 cd version.

    as for the ‘who uses CDs these days?’ comment. obviously no one is using cds these days. but 700 is just an arbitrary number now, but a good rule of thumb. a 2+ hour movie does look a bit dodgy if compressed less than 700Mb. the fact that that’s the capacity of a CDR really doesnt matter. once the time goes over that, im happy to download 1.4Gb.

    I can see some merit for the scene changing the rules, like 700Mb, is the minimum, and than a scaled rule where 3 hours is 1.4Gb, and if the movie length is in between, then look up the scale to see what the end file size should be. but considering most movies would be over 1Gb, then whats it matter.

    As for buying the DVD if you worry about video quality. I think owning a hard copy of a movie is stupid. I’m not gonna watch it again. I could hire it sure, but i cant be f**ked going down a shop and becoming a member.

    yea i can fit any movie on 1cd but if you have a movie like potc3 youre going to end up with a 300kbps bitrate and 64kbps stereo audio. the scene is about producing high quality material not about squeezing ŝhït on 1cd so that some stupid n00b such as yourself can download it with limewire in a couple of hours. so stfu cuz you obviously dont know ŝhït about this.

    the movie is 8/10 for me on imdb, which means it is good. great story development. the video on this release is not that bad actually and 700mb which is actually favorable by the majority of leechers. i don’t know if it’s only me but there is a slight aspect ratio issue. the actors are thin.
