Electric Six-Kill-2009-FNT

Electric Six is a six-piece metro Detroit-based band that plays what has been described as a brand of rock music infused with elements of “garage, disco, punk, new wave, and metal.” KILL is the sixth and most recent album by Detroit rock band Electric Six. It was released through Metropolis Records on October 20 2009. Previous names chosen for this album included Jared Styles, and The Sign Of The Beefcarver.

The album’s opening track and first single “Body Shot” is perhaps one of the best of Electric Six’s career. The track is more dance oriented with little rock input but lead singer, Dick Valentine puts on a classic performance. His vocal-style ranges from a gritty-growl to sex-crazed falsetto.
