This is the second episode of a new dark comedy airing on the CW starring Laurie Metcalf (best known from Roseanne). I have never seen the show, can’t tell you if it’s worthwhile, but maybe some of the visitors have a feeling about it, one way or the other.

Brandy has grown weary of Mike’s get-rich-quick scheme as a means to end his debts. Morgan believes he is not a member of his family, thanks to help from Julia and her research, and seeks Dr. Bowers help in the matter. Bobette is helped by Morgan with her new business rival.

    This hasn’t gotten a lot of attention but is an excellent show. Not as flashy as the big dramas but complex, layered characters with an innovative setting that has clever plotlines. A solid viewing…
