This is one of the best programs I have ever used to convert avi to vob files and burn the resultant directly to DVD.I use windows XP Pro with P4 3.0ghx processor with 2.0gb Ram Quality of movies wxcellent.

For #18. Cut and paste or copy keygen to your the Easy Dvd Creator folder located in your Programs folder. Generate, cut and paste seriel number in the register section of the program.

The ONLY reason I want a one-click program is to convert AVI files I download to DVD for a friend of mine. He’s a few years older than me and he’s one of those people who never learned to use a computer and has no inclination to change now. He also doesn’t have a player that can play Divx files. I know that some of them are fairly cheap, but his finances are pretty tight right now and he has other priorities.

So currently, the only way I have to copy downloaded movies for him is to record them to video tape. Of course this takes as long as the movies I’m recording and the quality is crap. Not to mention that I can’t active use the computer while it’s recording them. Using the normally recommended programs is more work than I’m willing to do for something he’ll probably only watch once.

What gets me is that any half-decent media player can play all these files no problem, but when it comes to converting to DVD, a well documented format, the programs are either crap, or require the user to manually perform several steps.

Good, fast and easy. When it comes to AVI to DVD conversion, it seems you can only ever get two of the above.

these one click proggies are a complete waste of time and are of poor quality. apollo, aone, power, speed, aurora are all the exact same with slight changes to the UI. most of these UIs are created from http://www.bearui.com (which as well do mcfunsoft, fox, magic, but not magic dvd ripper). the quality is crap. even http://www.keronsoft.com/dvdbuilderpro.html is better. tmpgenc software is far superior to these (mediachance isnt to bad either). if you still want similar quality as this release get apollo divx to dvd:

the same dood makes all these under different comany names, all with poor chinese to english translations. learn how to use the pro tools (avid for example) and you will see a huge difference.

I tried an older version of this as it’s one of the few one-click AVI to DVD that will work under Windows 98. It worked and was reasonably fast, but it has one very big problem; There’s no option to limit the output size! So if you feed it a large AVI file, or several AVI files, it’s likely to make a 7-8GB output folder.

When I complained to the author, his solution was to buy another of his programs Easy DVD Copy, that would allow me to fit the 8GB files onto a 4.5GB blank.

I use Easy DVD and find it extremely useful. I label my DVDs professionally with my DiscPainter. Using Easy DVD and DiscPainter are the two tools that make commercial quality DVDs possible for the average Joe.
