Can anybody tell me what is a PROPER in a DVD rip? Keep seeing them now and then. What is the difference between a PROPER rip and a simple DVD rip?

Download the “forced parts” version (.srt file). Those are the subs for only the Russian parts.

I am confused about the subs – whats the difference between soft subs and hardcoded subs? I have done as Brett suggested but cannot see anywhere in the FAQ’s anything about subs, so have to ask here.

The cocain R5 subs just had the non-english parts dubbed, but the subs for the diamond release is for the entire film. Is there a sub file we can add to the movie just for the non-english parts? I tried adding the cocain .srt file to the film but it was out of sync and i dont know how to change the timing of the file in Quicktime.
