EarthView v3.8.4 WinALL-CHiCNCREAM

If you ever got bored with those static wallpapers, this is something what can spice up your desktop on new way.

Description: EarthView is a dynamic desktop wallpaper and screen saver, which displays beautiful views of the earth with daylight and night shadows. It produces colorful, high quality, high resolution images for every screen resolution – even beyond 1600×1200! The program supports map and globe views, urban areas, city lights, atmospheric effects, clouds, local time display and much more. EarthView supports different maps that show our planet earth in different ways, like photographic or artistic. Many options allow total customization of all view parameters. EarthView has won many awards for its absolutely breathtaking images.

EarthView supports four different beautiful maps of the earth, starting at 10 km resolution, which means that at 100% zoom level, 1 pixel on your screen equals 10 kilometers on earth. If you purchase the full version, you’ll get the possibility to download even more detailed versions of some maps, which have higher resolution. This means, they have much more detail, so you can zoom in even further!

Key Features:

#20 “they lie on keygen’s and patches for you dumbasses to stay away from copyright material” lol

Well if my noob AV says “stay away” then I shall stay away.

Only noobs make patches that make AV’s like Avast say “virus virus virus”.

    Installer doesn’t work by me.

Tried the ‘official’ download (same size btw as installer file in this dl.), gave the same error. NIS doesn’t give sh*t on the files (updated of course). Gave the same problem.
Something to do with “not able to crate shortcut.

Again, official file and dl. file gave same problems. German version however works fine, crack on german version too.

Virus? Nah, just the poor people dl. & using avf free…..

    @#28

I use Avast cause virus softwares are so overated and rarely needed. Haven’t had viruses since -95 thanks to f-prot back then and now Avast. Oh and again I must say, if the patch was done right, there would be zero alerts from any AV.

You just wanted to troll, right?… Go troll somewhere else. :p

    July 14th, 2008 | 00:15

All of the top-of-the-line AVAppz (Kasper, Nod32, Horton, HackaFee) are saying that it is 100% OK; Except Trend Micro, which even reveals its true identity as “PAK_Generic.001″ which is a generic tool to pack the uncompressed patch EXE to optimize its size.
So IMO, this is OK. (All the n00bs shoud continue their “OMG! Virus…” chorus and stay away ;) )

rofl :D I laugh at all the idiots on here and other websites complaining about EVERY single crack/patch having some sort of a virus. When are you going to realize that there has to be some sort of a “virus” to infect the program so you can enjoy it free without paying? n00bs ;)

  41. AnTje14
    July 14th, 2008 | 00:49

@ You Guy’s these crackers are advanced coders… don’t u think they would code their own UNDETECTED virus in it rather than binding an detected virus to the file! So if there was a virus in the crack it wouldn’t be detected by ur AV’s Anyways

This scans as a virus on trend micro. My firewall also went off as soon as it was downloaded.

A virus scanner and a firewall alarm.Ya it just saying its a trojan and trying to open ports because its a fake virus huh .

and as far as staff saying that cracks/keygens scan as virii.
ive cracked and keygen’d many uh program and never had my scanners go off.

thats the cracker wanting to make you pay bascially for cracking the software.

i lett them steal the staff of rlslogs info but ill pass on them stealing mine.

Unfortunately, as displayed a few months ago, you guys have a poor record when it comes to making virus infected software available, so the lack of trust from people, whether you want to call them n00bs or whatever, is understandable.

To call someone a n00b coz becuase they use AVG or Avast is just plain ignorant. Am I a n00b for using it, even though I was probably using the internet/bulletin boards before a lot of (and I will acknowledge not all) editors were born. Whilst I am aware that AVG often picks up cracks as a virus, I am also not stupid enough to think that ALL keygens etc picked up by them are NOT false positives.

I’m pretty sure you guys screamed about n00bs and morons using AVG etc when you did release the virus.

Use a real AV. Nod32 is the best as far as I know.

And have you heard of false positives ? And if you are getting that it is a hacktool.. Well guess what it is. Real AV only report files that are harmfull to your system. And ofcourse stuff that isn’t harmfull but is used to crack their software.

Neither NOD32 or SuperAntiSpyware or UnHackMe (rootkit detector) show any harmfull viruses or malware or trojans.

I was just gonna ask if someone had the high res map ?

ya only a fake virus sets off every single virus scanner excpet nod…

sounds like the trojan creator got it by nod32 but not norton.avg, trendmicro and 99% of the other virus detectors.

and nod 32 is not better than trendmicro..

i used nod32 for years and when i switched to trend micro it found virus that were never detected by nod.including spyware and malware..

if your virus scanner saying its a trojan dont d/l people

“this file is compressed/packed and contains another executable file inside of the main file.”

That’s what all the fuzz it about.

So if you want you can download the cracked exe instead. The group just made a patcher that does it to the original file.

    http://rapidshare.com/files/129525622/EarthView.exe.html that’s the cracked version.

    http://rapidshare.com/files/129587074/Artistic__10_km_.zip
    http://rapidshare.com/files/129587075/Realistic__10_km_.zip
    http://rapidshare.com/files/129587076/Scientific__10_km_.zip

just extract them to earthview folder & then run earthview

Ok… Whether or not there is a virus, it goes to show two things:
If it isn’t viral, CHiCNCREAM are using antiquated packers and their releases are faulty and probably should be nuked.

The same goes for if it really is a virus, except that I can take just about any known virus and render it more or less untraceable with a hex editor. Either way, Virustotal and then stick it in a sandbox to see what it does. If I don’t see anything off in VMWare I’m usually good to go.

tried earthview but it’s paid and in my opinion looks
much worse then desktopearth…mybe it does not have so
many options as earthview but does its job at least
