I’ve used it some time ago, the problem is that it uses some cpu when updating the wallpaper, and its not good when you are playing or something. And the real time clouds doesn’t work.

  14. Rubbish.

I had this before, Its a waste of time. Get an image of earth at day, then a black image with white specks for night. Alternate desktops during day and night.

    Its as good as that….

this seems like a really good idea. although I am content with an app that switches wallpaper at select intervals this one takes it to the next level with dynamic. if i ever used windows again i would try it.

I was just wondering, If anyone here could possibly tell me if this is better or worse than Google Earth? Thanks.

    ill check

    November 5th, 2007 | 19:57

jenna, if what you’re interested in is something pretty to look at, semi-realistic “satellite” pictures of earth to adorn your desktop with then this is the way to go. If, however, you’re looking for “real” information, i.e. place names, rivers, countries, borders, relief, wild fire sightings etc. etc. and a way to analyze and display these in a full-fledged yet comprehensive and accessible manner you’d be better off with Google Earth. At the end of the day, why not get both?
