Earth The Power Of The Planet S01E03 WS PDTV XviD-REMAX

I’m getting a little tired of posting the big network series all the time, so I’ll balance it out with some good documentaries. Earth: The Power of the Planet is a BBC Two based documentary that explains how the Earth works and how, over the course of 4.6 billion years (watch out creationists! this is not for you) it came to be the remarkable place it is today. Earth: The Power of the Planet is a 5 part series that airs Tuesdays starting November 20 through December 18. There are scene releases in PDTV, HD.HDTV and 720p for the first two episodes, they should not be to hard to find if you belong to a good private site. And BTW, no working public torrent out yet, so this will have to wait until then.

Ice: Dr Iain Stewart examines the role of ice in changing the course of human evolution and shaping the planet’s landscape, visiting a frozen waterfall, a unique lab in Arctic Norway and the granite peaks of Yosemite to learn more about the phenomenal power of glaciers. He also travels to Greenland to examine the evidence of climate change, and asks what the consequences will be if Earth’s ice continues to melt.

This is actually pretty good. The guys accent is kinda annoying, but I have learn a few cool facts from these though. Like how lakes in Arizona have so much methane that when you put a lighter on a hole above the ice you will get a steady fire!

And the CG is also nice.

Where to get hold of this:

    1)Doubt it’ll be rapidshared

    2) private torrent site http://www.thebox.bz/ has it

    3) Because it’s a top class docu it’ll prob be released by MVG and therefore made public; either as a pack of all the episodes (TV rips) or as DVD rips once it’s out on DVD

    More info. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/earthpoweroftheplanet/
