There are many groups on the scene which actually don’t have any hacker in their team so they must limit themselves to releasing low-budget titles without a cd protection, or eventually Cloning the game dicsc. iTWINS is exactly such a group and their latest releases falls very well into the budget game category. Earache Extreme Metal Racing aims to fans of metal music, because the game is full of hardmetal songs from a fairly popular metal bands. The gameplay isn’t that attractive though…

The Gates of Hell are open for the most gruesome show down in History, so grab your giant axe, inflict some pain and prepare yourself for some Extreme Metal Racing! Race, crush, slash and burn your way through the fiery wastes of the Underworld and compete to be the ultimate hellraiser. All this carnage and more to the blistering sounds of Earache’s greatest artists!

EARACHE EXTREME METAL RACING will feature ten evil Earache racing teams burning a lot more than rubber through hell and other wastelands. Along with themed tracks from the combatants on the starting grid there’ll also be a plethora of extreme Earache classics making up the soundtrack of the game from such luminaries as Napalm Death, At The Gates, Cathedral, The Haunted, Hate Eternal, Cult Of Luna, Beecher, Urkraft, Anata, Mistress, Severe Torture and many others.

    Just watched a trailer for this game. Looks like Earache made their own version of the crappy Hanna Barbara Laff-a-lympics cartoon from the 80s.

    I wonder how high you actually have to be to enjoy this game. LOL

    The “game” itself takes only 80Mb(!) of hard disk space. Another 3Gb are taken up by music in uncompressed wav format and some misic videos, making of music videos and messages from the bands (mpg 640*400-something).
    The game itself is ugly, control layout is pathetic and physics allow the car to drive on vertical walls and fall through the floor. Same music track plays on loop from the start of a race to its finish.
