EA unveils Spore: preload the game now
Begin your odyssey at the dawn of life as a simple microbe just trying to survive, then evolve the creature from its microscopic origins into an intelligent, tool-using race, becoming a global civilization and choose whether to hunt or forage, attack or trade. From today on, fans who pre-ordered the game from the EA StoreOnce pre-ordered, you will see Spore in your EA Download Manager. can pre-load the game, and be ready for launch.
You will then be able to download 99 percent of the game to your computer with the remaining part of the game to be downloaded upon the date of the game’s release. It will only take 30-60 minutes for the install to complete before you can begin conquering galaxies in Spore before anyone else! Please note that you will be charged for the game on the 28th of August and your statements will reflect this. Spore Galactic Edition will be available as a boxed product-exclusive at retailers. Spore will be available on PC Sept. 5 in Europe and Sept. 7 in North America and Asia Pacific. The NDS version will also be available on Sept. 7, 2008.

it have something as 3 activation one activation needs to be done each 10 days.. so i doubt this will be 5 min crack work :X

I saw it today in Harvey Norman and was Surprised, I did not know that we get it today. $99.95 though, not worth that to me, Ill be waiting on rapidshare links or a decent torrent.

i already played this game and made a giant penis monster that rammed stuff with its head for attack and squirted poison out of its balls and EA banned me for a month after i posted it on their server. so yeah, you cant have penis monsters.

lol, “It will only take 30-60 minutes for the install” I formatted both my hard drives and installed Mac OS X Leopard and Windows XP in the same time-frame, I hope this is a huge over-estimate. Or maybe it’s the amount of time it takes to make sure secuROM is installed to its full annoying extent. When will Sony realise that this is the free world and we can use our products to the extent that we want, they’re always trying to screw us over. Also when will they realise that no matter what new security measures they find, it will be cracked. And finally, when will EA realise that by implementing Sony’s totalitarian tactics they are just encouraging piracy, lol, ah well, i’ll be downloading this when it’s cracked as a big middle finger to Sony and EA.
Spore released here in Australia today.. friend got a call to pick up his preorder, and I went and grabbed a copy as well.. I’m only up to tribal after 3 hours, but it should appear in torrent form sooner rather than later considering I am staring at a legit disc copy now.
Looks interesting and unique, I’d buy this but i just bought a very expensive computer and i don’t wanna wait until payday
