Another year another round of sports titles from EA… Rugby 08 is the first of the 08 games to be released and changes/add’s a few features including being able to play in the Rugby World Cup. Other new gameplay features include simplified lineouts and defensive formation, authentic defensive formations, new kicking mechanic, and new truck and zoom camera angles. Doesn’t seem like enough to warrant an entire new game but that’s EA for you. There’s no real substance over the previous versions of EA Sports Rugby as with most of the other EA sports titles but you can get it for free so you cant complain to much. Thanks to ViTALiTY for cracking this and giving Rugby fans something to play with.

Also getting the 503 Service Unavailable error, and none of the pages even load to begin with. Coming through a proxy, and it worked fine..
You can get in without using proxy. Just reload the page once or twice. As for what is going on, I have no idea. Some caching problems, I assume.
I think rlslog.net is implementing some kind of reverse proxy.
That means they’re trying to lighten up the load and bandwidth on their server.
Otherwise they can simply upgrade the server and the bandwidth with some money.
but i think a server with the optimal characteristics for rlslog should cost about 150 - 200 $ a month.
Can you handle that kind of money for such a great but still amateur site? No, that’s why http://www.underground.org.ru which is mashed down to the ground by their visitors requests is undergoing every month electronic money donation.
Long story short: they’re trying through http://varnish.projects.linpro.no/ to reduce the amount of bandwidth and cpu load. This way thay can offer the best service while not upgrading the server (money to spend).

About this release…im not sure what to think, ea always release a new game each year maybe its nice for the hardcore rugby fans out there but for me i think i’ll pass this one…

No way. When i try to install the game from the CD i get the message: PLEASE INSERT THE DVD/CD 0 IN THE DRIVE D.
I tried installing from drive C, overwite the .exe. Doens´t work.
installed it without the cd a while back so i can’t fully remember
but….
so after you’ve downloaded everything you combine the files using winrar so it will be an ISO file…THEN, you use winrar again, this time to extract files from the ISO file you’ve just combined
after extracting, some where there is a ViTALiTY folder that contains KEYGEN, yeah open that to get the key
install the game, enter the key then copy the RUGBY08 file from the ViTALiTY folder into the following location
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\EA SPORTS(TM) Rugby 08
or where ever you installed the game
then you’re ready to play

To solve the problem “INSERT THE DVD/CD 0 IN THE DRIVE” you have to use Daemon tool (turn on all emulation option). If you use Power ISO instalation won’t start.
