    There’s a tool in Nero who can do that
    Nero Toolkit - Nero InfoTool
    for speed check:
    Nero Toolkit - Nero DiskSpeed

    This looks like another phoney app to me. Nero has been giving away these tools for free for years now.

    Can anyone recommend me a free Antivirus program, that’s compatible with Vista x64, that won’t keep bugging me with false alerts about files like this? I’m fed up of being told it’s got such-and-such trojan in it when it hasn’t!! Using Avast at the moment….
    Thanks :-)

    It’s not a phony app, unless Nero’s tools suddenly got a whole lot more advanced, like being able to dump the media descriptor block from a disk, or running the kind of manufacturer-dependant error scanns that DVDInfo can provide.

    Silly to have a commercial version, sure. But not phony.

    @8,

    Avast does not give you false alarm. This keygen indeed has a trojan. Their old keygen was clean on the other hand.

    How do you get this release to work? Upon unraring i get dvdinfo.001 and dvdinfo.002 which I join with MasterSplitter to give me a file called dvdinfo. Adding .zip or .rar as a file extension doesnt work as the archice is reported as corrupted.

    Am I’m being a spazz or is this release borked ????

    @12

    Try add .exe to dvdinfo.

    @12 Tankon

    Well, I was curios and end up download it.

    Inside the dvdinfo.001 and dvdinfo.002

    was a dvdinfo.zip which I could only only open with WinRar.

    Inside there was .msi and .rtf.

    7z was no good trying to extract =(

    Might as well get DVD Indentifier its free and show same info as this “pro” thingy

    To the unpacking issue.. the .001 &.002 is most likely RAR files. Just open in Winrar and extract.

    Does anyone know of a program that will scan a commercial DVD and tell you what additional copy protections (if any) are present on the disc? Perferably one that works under Windows 98.
