    wow it added support for 360 and ps3 video conversion sweet…. the 360 part is a must try, no body has a blu-ray burner so screw the other part

    I have:

    ConvertXtoDVD for Xvid to DVD
    DVDShrink for DVD to DVD
    AutoGK for DVD to Xvid

    Does DVDFab replace any of these programs?

    I had some problems when I used some of the features like, skip FBI warning, and go straight to title menu. So I don’t even use them features. I just copy the movie as is. I don’t think I’m going to upgrade just yet.

    This is the best program for copying DVD’s. Simple to use nice UI and plenty of options. I use it daily. I’m glad this update is out cuz I tried to copy Shoot Em Up the other day and couldn’t. I hope they updated the encryption algorithms. As stated by #11 I had some of those problems as well but I just copied the whole movie and called it a day. @6 this program does all of that except XVID to DVD. I use Nero for that so I can add a menus to the movie.

    Seems like a fine program, although all these burning companies better watch out, cuz VSO Software is takin over. No codecs required, GUARANTEED good conversions and burns every time, and NEVER had a single message saying “bad disc/media” like so many other burning programs (I’m looking at you, Nero and CloneDVD)

    Meh, I still use AnyDVD with CloneDVD2. Looks like an easy GUI though, might just grab it as a backup.

    @17 you said vso has guaranteed good conversions but ps2’s and very old dvd players have problems playing dvds I made with convert x.
    I make a lot of dvds for friends and family and i found the best program is tmpgenc with divx authoring.
    It takes longer and uses more cpu, but the options you get (like making professional looking menus with motion and audio)
    and its compatibility with every dvd player i tested it on make it far superior to this program and vso’s software

    The only two programs I use is convert x and dvdfab. Once in a great while I’ll have to use Winavi instead of convert x.

    But I ALWAYS use NERO to burn. Seams like I’ll have a problem with the vso burner not wanting to burn, and dvdfab uses vso burner and won’t verify after burn. So I always use nero to burn with the verification on.

    Biggest tip of all. Use good media( verbatim, sony), and don’t have other applications running in the background while you burn(anti-virus, screensaver,etc..)

    Program crashes with the use of Xbox360 and PS3 movie rips… any reasons? #27 I have used almost every media brand out there and have had no problems with them.. Buy what ever is for sale, 8.99/50 is the deal to try to get and thats the Bestbuy and Circuit city brands, they work great and the price is awesome…

    Could some one help me please?

    Im trying to convert a movie (using the program) to an MP4 format (for my ipod) but everytime I click on start a ‘CRASH RPORT’ appears.

    Ive even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but the same ‘CRASH REPORT’ appears.

    COULD SOMEONE, Christian ETC, HELP ME PLEASE?

    This one any good for converting the 720p .mkv files to DVD?? i tried convertXtoDVD, but that didnt do anything with the sound codec, it needs to convert the sound to AC3, which can be read on any dvd player.

    Do a google search on “dvdfab forum” and look for the answer. I only use dvdfab to copy dvd to dvd.
