ya, for AVI it’s bad, it’s good as a whole DVD backup tool, i recommend ‘FairUse Wizard 2′ for DVDRIPs, it’s a simple program yet with many features and does scene quality releases, and supports using ac3 audio or mp3.

yeah, I’d only ever use this for backup of the original dvd material .. screw transcoding with it, that’s a no-go.

I would never recommend this to create an AVI of a DVD, made a really crappy quality one when I tried to do so. Otherwise, it works fine on straight copying.
