DVD-R Releases: January 1st to 8th

We normally don’t post DVDR releases on RLSLOG. Although on the forums many had requested to have these available here. So i have decided just to make a round up of some DVDR’s which were released from the start of this year till now. Enjoy the great quality and have the ability to archive them easier and faster. ;)

    Why do people download the DVDR releases? More to the point, why do people even upload them? Surely with most people's connection, the best way to do it would be to download the DVDRip and convert it yourself with WinAVI Video Converter or similar. Yeah, you get a loss in quality but not really that noticeable.

    @4 It is noticeable if you have a huge TV & want 5.1 surround sound.
    I will wait for the 1.4 gb rip good quality video and surround sound

    Get with the times netmod, not only do people download dvdr's but they have moved on to x264 bluray rips (8gb), and some have moved on to Blu-ray whole disk images (50gb). Yes the quality matters to most…700mb Xvid/Divx files was very 10 years ago to most when most had dial up!

    Fair Enough, I was only asking really. I have no problem with download speeds and if it made a difference to me I would download the DVDR copies. Fortunately, I only watch the films on my laptop to pass the time at work. If I wanted to watch it on my "huge tv with 5.1 surround" I would download the BluRay Rip or go out and buy the BluRay. I was actually refering to the same file type as TBR is. The 2 CD, 1.4gb rips are the ones I would usually convert myself if I wished to watch them on the TV and didn't have my 360 or PS3 to stream from. Thanks for clearing up my confusion on these matters.

    Thank you for the release.
    but to the one who said that DivX are the past well not
    sure of your provider but you seam to have it all good..
    -Mine suck at times- so I'm very pleased with The DivX
    Format when it are released so that I can enjoy the movies
    too.
    But I think it good that there are alternative for everyone
    to pick what they wish.

    can anyone tell what is in the unrated version of Saw V? How many more minutes does it have? I recently downloaded the 'normal' version and was wondering if it as worth it to download this unrated and watch it instead.

    Prefer DVDR as long as it's with multi-subs or at least with Dutch subs as i'm from Holland.
    I understand English but the family and others prefer to read subs.
    But i want to see the DVDR section for sure.
    Nothing beats a good DVDR with prefered DTS sound and the best Image quality.

    just a suggestion but it would be a good idea to label them PAL or NTSC

    i just downloaded one of them, 4 an half gig, an found out it was NTSC and no good to me lol.

    deffo a fan of the DVDR releases tho, saves alot of time burning to disc.
