Nero is the worst piece of c*&# ever and I’m talking about the latest release. It installs some process hogs which took me hours to take out (with Nero still working).

Haven’t heard about Nero lite/Micro. Will take a look at that

If you know how to set it up, Nero does the job quite well.

this download doesn’t have the crack in the inVISABLE folder. Not worth the download!!!!

newest nero installs useless file indexing process which is quite hard to take out from system… and it installs even if you skip all the optional shit :(

Ashampoo is the best, although Droppix gives you Lightscribe labelling if you have the right hardware & discs which I have), so I’ll give it a try.

Besides being a resource hog, Nero has a tendency to drop the audio out of sync on 1 in 5 disks. I’ve never had that problem with Ashampoo. Ashampoo seems a bit quicker tooooo!

I have this it came with my external coppier. It’s crap. If you want the best burning software try IMGBURN. You won’t go back to nero. It’s free.

For the Nero Scout (The indexing service of Nero) disabling just type regsvr32 /u “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll”

Thats all. And yes Ahead (Nero) should really do something about their updatesystem. I don’t have other problems with Nero so i keep using it.

This IMGBURN is very good program too but it’s only for burning images. I use it long time.

  23. July 13th, 2007 | 23:40

    patcher is a trojan (AVG)

  24. buttzilla
    July 14th, 2007 | 07:55

iVo you can do a hole lot more then burn images with imgburn. Their name is misleading. Trust me on that. It’s the only burning software I have on my system. I can do anything nero burning rom can do with it.

  25. July 14th, 2007 | 18:15

works well, check all the winrar archives and you will find the crack, the only thing i can not get it to do is update.

  26. July 15th, 2007 | 18:50

Johnny is correct. AVG picks up a “Trojan Horse Generic5.HGE” in the patcher.
