Driver Parallel Lines PROPER DVD-FLT
Fairlight are back again, releasing a PROPER of ViTALiTY’s Driver Parallel Lines version which i reported on yesterday. The reason for the PROPER is simply because of a bad crack, you can see this for yourself when playing because the the guns are invisible. It’s not a major flaw that will stop you from playing but it can be annoying. Other than that nothing much more to say about this release so i will leave you with a quote from FLT’s NFO, “The oldschool kings are here to save the day.”

The torrent is there now but contains files with numbered extensions (like .001, .002, etc.) instead of the regular RARs (like .r01, .r02, etc.). Also there are no seeders and people are stuck at 5.4%.
What the hell is going on??

A little addendum to the installation instructions, in case anyone’s been having problems..
Once you’ve installed Halo 2, you need to install: XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi and vcredist.msi from the \redists dir on the Halo 2 DVD.
Also, you need to be logged in with an administrator account for Loader.exe to work, since it uses privileged API’s.
README- aka instalation insturcions
Installation Instructions:
1) Extract the archive.
2) Insert the Halo 2 DVD
3) Run Startup.exe on the Halo 2 DVD using the included Loader.exe
Ie.: Loader.exe D:\Startup.exe
4) Install the game.
5) Install XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi and vcredist.msi from the \redists dir on the Halo 2 DVD.
6) Copy the following files into the directory you installed Halo 2:
dwmapi.dll, mf.dll, MFPlat.dll
7) Finished. To play the game, run halo2.exe using the included Loader.exe
Ie.: Loader.exe “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\halo2.exe”

the reason why the release of Halo 2 won’t install on Vista is
because Startup.exe is fucked!
so if you want to play the game, you will have to extract the .iso
on your computer and replace the Startup.exe with the original one.
The game will install perfectly

Download speed is slow for me atm, the game is 4gb, and the release is messy. Watch the review, the game isn’t all that great either… but I have nothing better to play so I’m willing to give it a shot.

yupp. I’m playing it online rite now. It’s a little difficult with 50 players in the room, but def fun with 32 players. Its like chaos with all the smashing and shooting, like Iraq when i was there, but better. Not as much flys

Hey dudes, for those of you who are playing Halo 2 on XP, has anybody got any idea how I can run 3D Analyze on Halo 2?
It would be a simple matter of selecting Halo2.exe in the 3DA window but there are 3 exe’s to deal with, not 2:
3DAnalyze > LOADER.exe > Halo2.exe
So there’s a problem getting 3DA to run Halo 2 through the loader, if you get what I mean…

I’m having probs with this game(proper) re-starting my pc after about 5 mins of playin’…. the FLT ver did the same thing but i could only get about 10/15secs of game play from the start so i deleted and got the PROPER.
I blatted DX9 and reinstalled, switched to omega drivers(rad98pro), Killed AV & FWall apps and tried installing on a different hd….. still fuck’in does it….
