drivers are not really a problem to install or backup. does anyone know of a program that can backup all of your installed programs? thats usually whats a pain in the @$$ is re-installing all the programs.
whats the difference between this and driver genius???
Used to use this when I was on XP. Works pretty well. Did it on all the PC’s once they were set up and put them on an external harddrive. Hated getting drivers whenever windows went bad.
Anyways, this works, works well, and good for updating.

That is a pain…hated reinstalling apps. I’d suggest imaging your drive once everything is installed.
yes this is much better, comes in handy when reinstalling a fresh copy of windows with out the hassle of getting all the needed cd’s.just remeber to do a full driver backup and you can choose from zip to exe backups

in my experience, neither driver magician nor driver genius is really any good. i think the best ones require online registration, unfortunately.
for example, when i got driver agent to check my ‘updated’ drivers, it turns out that quite a lot were messed up by driver magician. it is not precise — ie if you dont watch out, you can install drivers for a different audio card model (albeit the same company). driver genius — in my experience — is even worse. it suggests drivers for hardware devices i don’t even have.
so yeah. sad. i hope a competent piece of software does come up in the future.

Just wanted to say this..
I have been looking for a wireless driver for my wifes computer for a very long time now, and have had no luck what so ever. I installed this, found it and had it running in no time.
Very cool program. It works great.
DO NOT USE THIS CRAPPY PROGRAM
Used it once and after a clean install the keygen went dead.
So there you are with a no working program and no internet 2 get a new keygen (because your chipsetdrivers won’t load).
Strangely a manual install of those drivers doesn’t work either (system starts to reboot every time you try to install the drivers). After another clean install of xp everthing was ok again and I could install the drivers manualy again.
So it’s no Driver Magician but Driver devil.
